Which track are you referring too ? If it's Lynn, i don't recall hardly anyone saying it's the BEST track in the UK tbf. There are some better racing strips than Lynn, however there are many worse imo..

I don't know Humphrey, went to both venues many times in the 70's but was abroad alot when they closed, so i missed the ins and outs of that...

I would imagine being close to one of the worlds largest cities must help a little. Always been decent crowds when i have been to Lakeside..
