  1. That's a bit harsh, the facts of this are yet to emerge.
  2. Should be closer, but Dyer makes the Comets stronger imo, and can only see max points for the home team. Barker will need some consistent back up if Ipswich are to get anything from this, and that's unlikely..
  3. Another great showing by Bellago, leaving me mystified why he's not got an Elite doubling up role. Absolute steal on his average and always likely to be a matchwinner.
  4. Fair comment, but the younger generation don't go to speedway. His best bet is with a unhealthy drink company I would imagine..
  5. Not in a million years im afraid, most people have never heard of him and are not interested in speedway anyway..
  6. WOFFY.. HARRIS.. KING.. WORRALL for the KL meeting and take it from there.
  7. Additional proof that a big fast track provides alot more entertainment than the 'tricky technical' ones.
  8. I wish Rosco was somewhere other than Somerset, the commentary is spoiling a good meeting..
  9. Had the same experience with them twice, Ticketmaster are terrible and I wont use them ever again..
  10. Only in speedway would a national team track a guest from another country, you have to chuckle I spose..
  11. Cant see any points coming back to Ipswich in this one. I cant see the Diamonds dropping any home points in the Lge this year.
  12. Its a must win for the Witches IMO against a team that has lost twice at home already. Long way to go but the top 6 teams are looking solid and have all won away...Lanham must start winning races.
  13. Mr Lanham must up his game, the reserves having a poor night have highlighted his poor return from the no 5 position. Diamonds will take some stopping, especially if they replace SW with a solid reserve..
  14. I think Jonny was being 'Tongue in cheek' WK. There was probably more like 200, so obviously most Coventry fans were struggling to find a programme...
  15. The Cardiff ticket prices are a complete rip at the best of times, but to charge £45 for a 5YR old is criminal. Maybe this greed over ticket prices explains why GP attendances are well down at some venues this year.
  16. Scotty did a good job last night, and Sophie was a joy to watch in the Cardiff pits doing her interviews, making Charlie look like a bumbling idiot in comparison. Probably the best presented Cardiff GP by a mile, well done Eurosport.
  17. A 'Barry Hearn' type could do nothing to halt the decline, speedway is struggling to keep existing fans, it has no chance of attracting new ones. Lets face it, speedway can be a very boring with too many follow the leader races, poor stadia, 2hours plus to run 15 heats. Kids find this dull, and who can blame them in this digital age. The sport needs paying customers to survive, so it appears the writing is on the wall.
  18. When the Sky money is lost, I suspect the Premier lge will be the place to be. You may find some of the Elite clubs wanting to drop down or even have one big British league..
  19. Its just as likely to be the cost, a family of four is a minimum 40 quid. Under 13's should not have to pay, this might encourage more parents to attend and snag some young fans of the future.
  20. The latest GP was a rare bad one, on the whole its a great watch. The biggest problem on Saturday apart from the lack of passing was complete lack of sound from the bikes and the crowd. It sounded like two men shouting and screaming in a box with someone mowing the grass outside.
