It's almost impossible to compare riders from different era's, it only becomes a never ending debate on differing opinions. Tai is the best from this era by a country mile, but i think it's too early to say best of all time. I suspect in time he will be though, if he avoids injury ...

He was surprisingly pants, and human nature being what it is, it was bound to raise a few eyebrows in the circumstances. Not having NKI certainly cost Lynn, especially in the home leg ....

Simply because there are time parameters sometimes involved in the removal of metalwork from the body. As someone who actually had a plate start to buckle in my leg, i am well aware of the permanent damage that can happen. Significant complications can occur following the removal of hardware, and some of these complications can be serious. His surgeon would be in control of this situation for sure...
