  1. Drew is so frustrating even to many home fans. To have the likes of Danny King and Steve Worrall in particular sitting him down and 'mentoring' him, telling him which racing lines to take and even lending him their machines didn't seem to give him any consistency. Using the practice laps following the starting parade to do wheelies in front of the main grandstand at every home meeting and then struggling to score a point or two did not please some fans! Its such a shame as he is very professional off-track with decent sponsors who produce regular high quality publicity materials for him. In fact he already has a full colour 2023 Sponsorship brochure available.
  2. Maybe Poole are not going for a 2 pointer this time around? As for Nathan he lives in the deep south and relies on his father to take time off work to ferry him around. Edinburgh is a long long way for home meetings!!
  3. What happened to the minimum number of meetings required by the stadium owners referred to by the Brummies Owner/Promoter earlier this year? Wasn't it 20 or something similar?
  4. £21 for Adults/£19 Concessions admission. Does that include a programme?
  5. I've gone through my kitchen cupboards to check all my sauces, especially my vegemite.
  6. That's unlike you Lewy to be on a Poole thread and not be aware of a lot of information!!? The 'surprise' is not which club he's signed for - most clubs would be happy to have him - but that he's come out of retirement at all as well as coming back to UK.
  7. As I was told at the time. Clearly misinformed from both Aussie and UK!!
  8. I have every respect for him as a rider but its those that 'chipped in' for his farewells in 2021 that I feel shocked for.
  9. I did indeed say that as that was what I was told at the time. I know several people who will be shocked after his 'Farewell meetings'!!
  10. I stand corrected. So much for his 'farewell' meetings?! Does he get a 2.5% reduction for riding on his British licence?
  11. Of course one of the problems with getting a subscription copy whether plastic or paper packaged is when the royal mail cwu members go on strike!! If the postie decides not to deliver on Saturday then its into the next week before I get mine.
  12. Maybe if you are trying to access the site using WiFi it's the WiFi signal that is at fault? No issues for me either by hardwire, wifi or links from other sites!
  13. How would he know this far in advance who would be riding in each team?
  14. The only reasons Lewy keeps yawning are the nightmares of Plymouths season keep waking him up in the Poole section.
  15. ..and still you can't keep away! Keep on yawning. You'll have lots of opportunity.
  16. ....and yet here you are!! I understand totally if you are tired - it must be yawningly boring down your way. Do you run a Guest house?
  17. The big difference with Matt's Poole team options is that they usually win trophies at whatever level they choose to run. References to hair dressing really sums up looking backwards rather than onwards and upwards.
  18. Don't forget the issue of visas. They need the correct visa to allow racing for more than one club - unlike Ben this season.
  19. Why would Hume be a weak no.6, especially when not injured?
  20. Matt always has 2 or 3 team options every season. Not sure where the 'Prem in 2024' has come from unless it's their final season at Poole Stadium? Even then it would need to be on Wednesdays for the Prem to be considered. I wonder if the Dream team includes Bomber?
  21. Its already announced as an 'Inter League Challenge' with Poole allowed to strengthen or Leicester to weaken.
