It'll be interesting to see who Birmingham use as guests on Wednesday?! Even more so on the Friday fixture when there are 2 other fixtures taking place. Poole will also be looking for replacements for Kemp and Ablitt on Friday as they are both away in Europe.

Big queues before the gates open at 6.30, probably fans wanting to guarantee a parking space or get into the pits! Obviously getting there after all the entrances (x5) have opened will reduce the queues quickly, as well as the opportunity to get your preferred seat/standing position.

Nathan unfortunately fell in the 3 man run-off for 3rd place .

Hopefully its all sorted for next Wednesday when the Pirates are in town?! I know its especially difficult in the hot conditions and also if there are restrictions on when you can actually work on the track!

Darcy Ward will be well pleased at the performances of his 3 mates - Douglas, Ben and Zach Cook! Fairly sure that Douglas was in one of the several Poole line-up options during the winter until Lawson unexpectedly became available.

Usually big queues at all the entrances! Every week and longer queues in the holidays with all the holiday makers and depending on the standard of the opposition.

Arrive in the car park around 5-30/5.45. Gates open 6.30 so join that queue around 6.20 pm after having a snack/drink in the car, sometimes use the bar and facilities, catch up with the promoter and then I sit in an area of reserved seating so have the chance to catch up with other regulars, read the programme and make any changes to the racecard. I attend with my son, his mate and my granddaughter plus occasionally one other, depending on workshifts etc.

So fit to ride then?! As he told a former employer!!
