  1. Kye Thomson (Monarch doubling down) is rumoured to be one rider , with contractual issues awaiting clarification to allow Dan Bewley to also ride - just rumours you understand..............
  2. Poole can't use Ablitt at reserve 'cos they've lent him to Panthers for the night!! Its 'only' a Challenge meeting for Bjarne's benefit so anything can be agreed between the 2 clubs.
  3. Teams now announced and its a Poole v Peterborough match up to get the Pirates season started. Poole Steve Worrall; Drew Kemp; Richard Lawson; Adam Ellis; Danny King; Ben Cook; Zac Cook. Peterborough Michael Palm Toft; Hans Andersen; Scott Nicholls; Ulrich Ostergaard; Peter Kildemand; Jordan Palin; Nathan Ablitt. plus Bjarne's final laps; Upright races and Juniors.
  4. Another big sponsor renews with Poole Speedway - Morrish Homes - its always good to have a prominent local Property Developer on board!!!
  5. Where does it say that Smith is going to be 'lost to the sport'? The announcement is just about him stepping down from his BV CEO role!
  6. The latest BSN post on facebook offers the chance to win one of 3 season passes.
  7. Thanks for putting this up Daz9100, I meant to do it myself but got distracted with other stuff. The boys haven't sorted a date yet for the 2nd episode as there isn't much fresh news/rumour yet. I do know they have middlo lined up for a future interview and Danny has approved access to all the riders. I note they now have 100+ YouTube subscribers!!
  8. So Adam Ellis not declared in any of the Danish League squads announced this week!! But will the new Promotion pay a 'guarantee'??
  9. The key word being "indoors"... The Hearns have done exceptionally well at promoting indoor sports involving individual competitors (rather than teams). I'd like to know of an outdoor team sport that they have been successful at - aside from the outstanding success (not) that is Leyton Orient!!!!!!
  10. Lets not forget streaming is primarily for away fans so that clubs still get an income stream. I would think that the BSN service as well as any individual club streams (as Edinburgh last season) will have a block put on them within a specified distance from the home track!!
  11. As well as putting a block on any streams within a specified distance from the track - as Edinburgh did.
  12. Maybe they will stream the P&P? Some clubs are..........!!
  13. Fairly sure Keleher finished the 2021 season on only 4.05, looking at plymouth's (issue 24) averages. Interesting that he's not been 'snapped up' anywhere else??
  14. via BSPL website. They have facebook, Twitter and Insta pages too. Theres no specific details yet until March. when prices and registration will no doubt be announced.
  15. Great to see more sponsors on board - both old and new - excellent!
  16. So you can register for the new BSN Streaming service from March 1st with coverage commencing in April.
  17. So another week passes and still no confirmation announcement about Dan and Kye?! Very strange............. Must be quite sticky in Sweden!
  18. Was that the 'Rosco admitting cheating' year?!
  19. Now Piratecast.Live relaunched and on You-Tube.
  20. Only because Birmingham 'fans' don't seem to bother reading their club's own official statements or articles in the Speedway Star - preferring to voice their own - mainly negative - agendas!!! As stated previously for a successful Championship its to nobody's advantage for there to be overtly weak teams in the league.
  21. So the official statement on Britishspeedway.co.uk states that LR is in discussions with his chosen 3 riders and just needs to get various things in writing (presumably signed and sealed?) before announcing. He goes on to say that Neilsen and Morris at reserve will probably be the strongest reserve pairing in the league!!
