  1. Steve see my post on the meeting thread. If Jack is fit he will ride for Peterborough on Monday as the Wolves fixture is rearranged. So its r/r at Monmore anyway. ps. Wait til you see the line-ups for the Leicester meeting on Saturday 3rd June!!!!!!!! World U21 Team Championships are on that weekend.
  2. Poole on Monday: Zengota; r/r Holder;Newman; Kurtz; Andersen; Klindt; Shanes. Holder if fit will ride for Peterborough on Monday as the Wolves v Poole fixture has been rearranged ie brought forward one week from the original June 5th date.
  3. Just reading the Panthers report - and speaking to him this morning!!
  4. Unlike the following week v Poole (3rd June) when both teams are likely to be missing riders depending who is selected for the World U21 Team Championships?!
  5. hahahahaha. Post of the day so far. Oops its still early!!!!!!!!
  6. Just to be accurate taken off by Riss in his 2nd ride in heat 5 and has injured his knee. Feeling very 'second hand' this morning but will make a late decision on tonight's meeting at Glasgow. Where does it say Peterborough are letting him go - particularly having now signed Bomber on 9.27 in place of Hansen?!
  7. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  8. Well at least he'll be there and be able to give one!!
  9. Teams of 5 this time around - including a reserve that can be used at any time!!
  10. So much for the theory that today's riders and machinery prefer a slicker track!!!
  11. He's not doing it in the Pairs tonight - Monster have come last!!!
  12. I think as far as 2018 is concerned we'll all have to see what the Polish rules dictate and what points and format the SGBP is working to before Magic or anyone else is seriously considered, no matter how far in advance MF tries to plan his teams - always assuming MF is still going to be involved??!! Its the same sort of 28 day contract that saw Kerr replace Newman - with the choice of either at the end of the 28 days subject to fitness. The difference being that Newman had the opportunity to prove his race fitness for Ipswich whereas KK hasn't got a team anywhere as far as I can make out. KK is still injured and recovering from his operation last week. He's also missing from the Euro Pairs tonight but will begin to practice again next week - presumably on his own unless he can get back into the Gorzow 1-7?! KK's only done 4 meetings for Poole (1 home/3 away) so presumably his 11.08 average will remain until the 4 home/4 away meetings are done (or not)!
  13. KK 'hasn't been sacked'!! He is being given the chance to re-estabilish himself during the 4 week period - although quite how he can prove his race fitness and scoring potential when he's been dropped by both Poole and Gorzow beats me!! ;-)
  14. So as the rest of us try to get the thread back on track - I guess with Freddie tweaking his knee on Monday and missing his Swedish meeting it will depend on whether he comes thru the GP unscathed as to whether he will be fit to ride on BH Monday?!
  15. Sundstrom is also being mentioned by MF as the other rider who made contact when KK first got injured. However, that seems to be only a possibility for the future as Linus has taken KK's place in Polish Extraleague. Also with Zengota set to step in for Nicki at Leszno for the time being - the next month could be very interesting!! As I posted on the Poole 2017 thread, in my opinion and because of the points situation come June, I can only see Sundstrom as a potential replacement for Zengota if Zengi doesn't do the business!!
  16. I can only see Sundstrom being considered if Zengota doesn't do the business. Sundstrom has replaced KK at Gorzow!!
  17. Zengota to debut for KK on Monday. 28-day contract which could become permanent. More changes to come??!
  18. Zengota, on a 28 day 'open-ended' contract subject to BSPA approval, will make his debut at Monmore on Monday! He 'needs to impress his Polish bosses in order to retain his Leszno team place' as he hasn't been doing that well so far!!
  19. Didn't Adams sign Skornicki?! Incidentally KK was 5th in last season's Elite League averages behind Doyle, Holder, Iversen and Jonsson but ahead of the likes of Zagar and Lindgren, so once it was decided that Holder couldn't sensibly be fitted in, the Vaculik/Bjerre option had fallen by the wayside and the new Polish rules became apparent, then KK (a Poole asset after all) was a reluctant but understandable next option.
  20. I have it on excellent authority that TR was on £180 per point in the latter stages of his Poole stint - plus the usual other stuff!!! BTW not sure what all the current conjecture is for KK?? He will start practicing again next week (he will not be available for Poole's 2 away meetings next week) and MF has stated he will give KK the chance to find his form again BUT expects him to start scoring as a number 1 very quickly or risk the consequences by the end of June.
  21. You do come out with a load of tosh at times Poolebolton!!"!! :-)
  22. Yes my bad. It was originally proposed as 2 Brits and then changed to the NL reference.
  23. I'd forgotten about DN. and I clearly didn't witness that incident. There are plenty of others that may well have done similar!!
  24. Although Tungate is still listed as 9.03 as the replaced rider on the BSPA list, I believe I'm right in saying that he has completed the required 4 home/4 away meetings and should therefore now qualify as a 5.09 rider. I guess he could only be signed on 5.09 by a club that has completed their 4 home/4 away meetings?! Even building to 42 points he would be a reasonable 2nd string or even reserve for most clubs - as long as the clubs retain their 2 Brits!!
