(I didn't really) Then I woke up ( I didn't do that either)

Whether its called 'amalgamation' or whatever (and leaving aside the NL for the moment) there will always be demand for a 'senior' league/division, with or without promotion/relegation!! If the likes of Coventry and Swindon didn't have their stadium doubts, they would undoubtedly still want to operate in the 'senior' league. Belle Vue have commitments to their council that they will bring 'top-class' speedway events to the NSS, which will not mean 'lower league' speedway. Poole, Wolves, and probably Kings Lynn and Lakeside would also prefer the 'senior' league. Goodness only knows about Leicester?! Add in the possibles of Glasgow, Sheffield, Ipswich and even Somerset - maybe with one or two others? - and you have a workable 'senior' league, which with some sort of squad system could give the Top riders few enough fixtures to attract them back but could also provide enough fixtures (for those riders not in other European leagues) when you add in a competitive Cup completion which would not include the 'top' riders and you could have a workable solution?!

2 promoters and 1 owner - no doubt attempting to show the SCB/ACU how much revenue they take at a home meeting to back up their claim of how out of proportion the fines are?! (as was stated in the appeal letter)

No. No rain-off please - Poole already have 3 away meetings to be re-arranged, we don't need another one - unless those clubs are penalised for not offering suitable dates and Poole are gifted the points??!!! :-) :-) ;-)

Apart from the 6-rider team meeting that was trialled recently at Kings Lynn - without too much further detail as to how it might be introduced or structured - I don't see any other Club Promoter making any proposals for fans to give a view on?!

With all these riders that are better than Kyle Newman, I'm amazed anyone made the Poole reserves the strongest pairing or Poole favourites for anything this year?!

No issues for me - its Lakeside's choice to go ahead with it. Chris Holder, Adam Ellis plus 5 others flying the Pirates flag. Maybe the likes of Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Stuart Robson, Peter Karlsson and Paul Starke (again) might be available?!

FIXTURE CHANGE: Poole v Lakeside reverting to the original date of Wednesday 13th July,(from Monday 11th) due to no clashes with Danish fixtures!!

Hemsley is still owner of the club although with a suspension of his Promoter-licence, he is not allowed into any 'non-public' areas. After this decision, he should have plenty of room to move around in!!!
