  1. But that is what he did say!! I was there on P&P day and have my own opinion. As I said its all a ruse to get Buster to bring some shale with him!
  2. Kings Lynn originally said he'd be missing both legs but they've updated their website now! r/r on Thursday. Extra ride for North and rides for Newman
  3. Don't expect too much from Davey Watt - he's sick but is en-route and still intending to compete!! Good man.
  4. Agree with that summary PQ7. 2 very close meetings ahead which could both be away wins?!! Especially as all the KL riders should know where the holes are likely to be!! It'll be interesting to see Poole's riding order for these first couple of meetings?!
  5. Hope that's not the sign of things to come from Poland this season!!!!? Strung out processional races won by turn 2 on the first lap in virtually every race. Hope the fans that were watching were not charged to go in??!
  6. The 'money' thing was really about the cost of Poole hosting the event, with a limited stadium capacity and huge extra costs. The decision to withdraw - as it says in the article - was the decision not to be allowed to strengthen the team ie as a squad, in the same way as the Poles, Swedes and Danes. Lets hope KL do themselves proud with Protasiewiecz and don't end up just competing for 3rd/4th place and catching a financial cold!
  7. With some riders having 'arrangements' with certain suppliers, its often left to individuals to do the ordering to a specific design and to their own individual sizes. Often the rider will pay for the kevlars and depending on the terms of their club contract, will be refunded the cost (or not) in their pay packets once they start racing!!
  8. Just to emphasise the point, at todays P&P, Poole's team kevlars clearly came from 2 different suppliers with variations in the darker and lighter blue/white. A clear case of there not being a 'blueprint'!!
  9. Originally the BSPA decision not to support was to 'protect' the EL Saturday tracks - especially as the Pairs dates were never announced until after the respective League fixtures. As it now primarily only affects Leicester - who will have Doyle representing the Aussies anyway - I can't now see what their issue is other than we haven't got a decent pair to compete with the other countries.
  10. Hope the FIM don't intervene as he's a Poole asset!!?
  11. Nice try but 25th was on the FIM calendar early days.
  12. Quite correct. Also, When Poole were considering hosting it, the date was Friday 24th April. Once FIM insisted it being on Saturday 25th, it ruled out Poole due to no track availability.
  13. Surely a camera can be fitted to the handle bars very easily - admittedly it might be pointing outwards when the bike is sliding?!
  14. I wonder what different riders will request of track prep with the new silencers/set-ups?
  15. Good luck to our 2015 British representatives Kings Lynn. I hope Buster doesn't bankrupt himself!! Who will NKI ride for?
  16. The FIM have to explain how/why they reached their decision of (only?) 10 months.
  17. Great start for the Lions. Most teams will struggle there.
  18. Don't let Horton know - you could be main team sponsor with that!!!!!?
  19. Green being 'unlucky' is a traditional theatrical thing. Not sure where/when it started, but you won't find (m)any theatres or concert venues with green anywhere to be seen, even down to having no green paint in dressing rooms etc.
  20. Indeed you did! but some clearly don't see that skill in team-building?!
