From an outside observer's point of view, speedway's 'senior' league sides should always take precedence when there is a clash. It would make it appear less 'mickey mouse'!!

So do all new 'foreigners' now come into the PL on 7 points?? And what average would, for example, Jack Holder be on if he loses his Somerset place and is signed up directly as an EL 2nd string? Would it be 5 or 4.2(7 x 0,6)??

If Kyle Howarth has a good start to the EL season with Rosco, then he is in with a decent shout imo!

I know I'm a Poole/Darcy fan but where in any of the recent statements does it infer that BSI are attempting to influence any decision by FIM?. All they've said is that a decision on the wildcard for Melbourne will be made nearer the time!!

Well he's not been announced in the rider list of the Aussie Championships - because of the provisional international suspension - so there goes any hope of getting the SGP Wildcard for the Aussie GP in October, unless the Aussie authorities and/or BSI have a rethink!! I would call that a significant punishment.

Maybe there was confusion at the AGM as to who owned Jack Holder and whether the 7 point PL average or the 5point EL average would apply??!!

Aside from the Holder issue, where has the 'reduced reserve averages' come from? Did I miss that in the AGM statement?

I'm sure that Darcy has been advised not to say anything specific about the case before the FIM hearing. Other than comments at Poole meetings/functions like 'its been the worst time of his life!' or similar, he has not been drawn on anything else, other than in private conversations with his sponsors, promoters and selected others. In fact other than on this forum, its hardly being 'discussed' anywhere else - including the FIM it would seem!! .

He's going to concentrate on his boxing; get his Security licence and sort his personal life out!! If that gives him back the 'hunger' for speedway then we shall see him again!! You never know, he might also achieve his dream of racing for Poole!! (as per article in Speedway Star!)

That depends on your definition of 'harsh'?! I would say not giving him a hearing or reaching a decision for almost 5 months is fairly 'harsh'!! Just an opinion which is no more right or wrong than yours or Sydney's!!
