I thought tonight's meeting was considerably better than last year's one round attempt Having commentators who actually knew the rules of the competition would also help. Showing a graphic of the running team totals more often on screen would also assist the viewer. With the Aussie boys perfecting the team riding aspect of the Pairs event in the final, I guess the biggest question facing Aussie fans now is will Poole's away EL meeting at Eastbourne on May 10th be rearranged or will Poole be missing Darcy and Eastbourne missing Woodward???

It'll be interesting to see how Go-Speed react if they don't get 'co-operation' from other track commentaries eg DVD production companies and the like?! With the launch of the new streaming service sort of announced (very quietly) when the new Sky deal was signed, I wonder if any undue pressure might be put on clubs/production companies to 'play ball' with Go-Speed - or else?!!!

Jason has the visa in his possession today - there's a photo of it on his facebook page!! His flight leaves Oz on Wednesday afternoon!! He is due to be sharing the Aussie 3rd man role in the World Pairs meeting in Poland on Friday!!!!!

I think Doyley already had contracts sorted abroad - in fact he would still have raced in the Polish/Swedish leagues even if his UK visa application had finally failed. As regards the '20 hours', I don't believe him being an EL Number 1 with Leicester will allow him to do any PL meetings

The 20 hours is supposed to be 'of the same level', ie EL standard only if my understanding is correct.
