  1. Hmmm, I'll assume its a bit stronger than blue WKD!
  2. WvsH and I are going with The Chivsy Travel group, flying from Stansted on the Thursday. Matt , you'll have a Birthday to remember (one way or another )
  3. I'll be dropping the others off at McD's on my way to Rico's!!...I'm the only one with an invite.
  4. All EL tracks apart from Ippo and Peterborough need a trip round the M25 for me. I won't be joining you at Jo's for a cuppa, I'll be having tea and scones at Rico's instead.
  5. So I see, didn't take them long to set the wheels in motion either. Anyway enough of speedway, what do you reckon to Grant and Phil being back in EastEnders, Shazz. Wonder if Dan the Man has an opinion
  6. ..And if you want it to be at Swindon, you need your brain tested!
  7. Fingers crossed for Peterborough. Is there any reason why its been brought forward by two weeks this time?
  8. If you ask me it just proves speedway needs female logic!
  9. Err..ain't that what I said? At least 2 of us agree on whats fair!
  10. Am I the only one who wants to see the best 16 riders in a GP? Its not a case of I want this rider because I like him more than that rider even if he's not as good ! Or that rider allegedly cheated over 15 months ago and we have to ensure he spends the rest of his life paying for it! Jeez, grow up! This series needs to be sorted out big time. Why on earth do only 8 riders have to qualify? A maximum of 2 wild cards is enough...after this year Jarek Hampel imo is the only rider who justifiably gets a place for 2006. Bring back a different version of the GP challenge, run it mid to late September after the series has finished, include the 8 non qualifiers and choose 8 wild cards for this meeting on merit. Or is that too sensible!
  11. Message to Robyn1972....Don't, it ain't worth a reply!
  12. Don't get me wrong HenryW, I would have been very happy to see both Hans and Pepe in the GPs. Of these last 3 nominations I fully expect Pepe to finish the highest at the end of '06 but I can only go by what I've witnessed this season as I don't closely follow Polish or Swedish speedway. As stated above I find it hard to believe Pepe has the nod over Hans, the fact that Niels and Matej have as well is totally amazing. I fully expect to see Pepe on the rostrum in at least one GP next year(probably bydgoszcz).
  13. Absolutely gutted for Hans, I can't believe Zagar, Pepe or Niels can be nominated above him! I'll be cheering for Pepe at Cardiff without a doubt, but after a season of seeing him ride alongside Hans it's a laughable decision.
  14. Very impressive Jo, I've trained them well. But even more impressive was their dad letting them use his credit card to confirm the booking!! Gem, I think the family ticket was only £65 this year, a £10 increase.
  15. Same here SL. I got home last night from my night out to find my hotel booking had already been changed for me. We've even now managed to get into our first choice hotel. Well done H and J, good thinking. I've just booked the tickets too. We're going to sit in the upper tier for a change. We've never been so organised.
  16. I'm happy with finishing 9th, a good family affair with James in 10th and WvsH 11th. Well done to Woody, Drakey and Smiles. Thanks for running the competition Steve, I did enjoy it really!

Been awarded as a 0-5 to Bates and Braithwaite, but dont know the order though. Ht 5: Bates replacing Braithwaite. Johnston is replacing Irving. Webster fell exc. He took Johnston down with him. Both ok.
  18. Thats another 1000 points gained, but a drop from 4th to 7th in the table! I clearly haven't got the hang of this gambling lark. So near, but so far with Pepe. Oh well, bring on Lonigo.
  19. Awww...poor Shawn, he thought he was helping Jill out. Bless
  20. Well done Poland. the best team definitely won tonight. And what a team they were, apart from when they were on track they appeared to be joined at the hip, if you saw one on TV you saw them all. And as for their celebrations, they could teach us a thing or two, and yes (apart from Rune) they all sang along to the National Anthem. Team GB? Erm....Steady and Rico, great..proud of them both. Bomber, he'll get there, tried his best , Screeny, been there, done that....and Scott, well he was just Scott . Middlo, passionate, nobody could better him on that score, but Scotty as a joker? yes it was a joke. Lee was the obvious choice. Shame the Danes couldn't have got the Silver, but other than that, the results were fair enough.
  21. GB avatar now in place, although my Polish one done the job tonight. Still loads of forum peeps wearing their club jackets still. C'mon guys, support Team GB.
