London Witch replied to Peter S.'s topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
According to Johnston, Holder was in it tonight! Can someone tell him Holta has a tee not a dee! -
Gp Challenge, Coventry - Sky?

Yea, go girl! We might see you there, unlike on Sunday at Ollys? I think the extra fiver is well worth it just to see the handsome Pole riding over here again. -
Grand Prix Challenge.

A decent line up, better than I expected. I think Jarek and Pepe are sufficient incentive for me to go. Got the day booked off already. -

I take it you won't be watching tonight then? Swidders hasn't quite got the same appeal for you, has he! -
A great end to a great week of Speedway. Well done Polska.

Standard of music is a lot better today though. -
Meeting is 11am Polish time, on Sky Sports 2 at 10am our time.

No, we're safe for tonight by the tv, she saves the dodgy clothing for public viewing only!

I care too. Polska to win, Russkies second. On opposite sides again I see Jacques!!

Swc - The Race Off
London Witch replied to Sandie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I bet there's loads of free pints on offer down Swindon way this weekend! I admit to not being very patriotic in the past where speedway is concerned, but I think Rob was spot on and I was proud to be British on Monday and last night. I've never seen a GB team gel as well as those boys did and every single one of them who were in the pits, whether riding or not, can be hugely proud of themselves. Look forward to seeing more of Team GB with Rob Lyon their boss. -

Hi Lis. Hope you are well. I've got my patriotic head on tonight for a change. Go GB!!! -

Was you in that much of a rush for your MacDonalds then? -

I suppose being an Ippo fan I'm more aware of Dannys worth than others who would only see him on Sky, as quite often his effort on track don't always reflect in his points. Also he's not the "big I am" and just quietly gets on with the job he's paid to do. To me, Bridger would have been chosen behind King, but I'm sure Eastie fans would feel justified in saying differently. Easy to say in hindsight who should have been picked. Who would have thought Kennett would be the weakest link. I'm just glad Danny was able to silence his critics in the best way possible-on track. But, Thursday is another kettle of fish and I think whoever is riding is going to have a devil of a job against such strong opposition. -

So why would Rico have been riding instead of King? It's only fans on here who were ridiculing Dannys selection, maybe Rob would have picked Rico before Tai or Lewis in which case we'd have been a bit closer still! -
Gb World Cup Team
London Witch replied to DarrenCook's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'd like to know why he wasn't there too. Can't think of any possible reason why he would have been asked to stay away, so people will assume that again he's having another hissy. If Rico, Hans, Rune etc can be bothered to show, its pretty feeble that Scott can't make the short journey across East Anglia to support the other lads. -

What a great night, we were stood amongst the Poles on the back straight, they really know how to enjoy themselves! So proud of our Danny tonight, I just knew he'd come up trumps. Good to read so many nice comments on here about him after all the negativity. Well done Polska, pure entertainers. -

Cardiff Sound System
London Witch replied to nelson76's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
We were on the upper tier on the 4th bend and the sound was terrible, but so was a lot of the music. Was a shame to miss out on the speedway side of the announcing though. We're taking a newbie along to Peterborough for the World Cup and I'm praying there will be no Agadoo, Okey Cokie or We love Speedway! -

Just two weeks older than Kennett actually, born 1986. Delighted for Danny. Personally I'd have gone for Rico before Bridger. -
Swedish Gp 2009

Looked like Scotts van was on the move as Hans went back to the pits after his exclusion. Scott must be very down if he was leaving the stadium so soon. -

I enjoyed that and now I'm about to enjoy a Chinese take away, paid for by our winnings. Cheers Emil. Well done Emil and Freddie. This could be a very interesting GP season. -
I only went along to High Beech once, afraid it didn't hold my interest for more than half hour and I also found it difficult to find a safe place to leave my car. We've already got Paradise Park marked in on the calendar and are looking forward to it. See you there Norbold, Shadders and Nobby.

Gelsenkirchen. So near, yet so far!

I'll second that! Thanks for all the entertainment Nicki, you've been sorely missed in the EL.
