Very true, but £10 is not feasible with the current riders in Britain. Recent events may solve this problem, with lower standard riders our only option.

We won't get speedway for £10, never mind a fiver. Get the tracks right for good racing, & the average speedway fan wouldn't have a problem with admission prices.

Game over for Speedway. Used to love my trips to Rye House, from the pub nearby, to the unusual camber on the first bend. Tragic.

You could be right, but it's a strange business strategy to run a business down, when you are trying to sell it. A lot of planning applications have been turned down, but accepted at a later date.

Greyhound trainers have had a rise of about 50p per race over the last 10 years. It's had a lot of 4 dog races recently, as the trainers are going elsewhere. The stadium was making loads of money through entrance fees, drink, food & the tote, with better crowds than speedway. Scoobydo is on the money with building land in my opinion.

In my opinion, the promoters should be working on an individual championship, involving all the riders that stay loyal to our leagues. Pay points money through the qualifying rounds, & up it for a Grand Prix type series for the top 16 qualifiers. Always assuming we are allowed to attend meetings, & the government don't demand all meetings have to be behind closed doors.

We book with free cancellation, & if hotel goes cheaper, we cancel & book it again at cheaper price. Must add, we haven't managed to do that regarding Cardiff over the years.

Didn't work out cheaper by booking a budget hotel, so you must be the rich one to throw your money away. No good moaning about it when you could have booked a free cancellation option for more money.

There are many reasons that you might struggle to attend an event months away. Just common sense to me to pay slightly more, & cover any problems.

Surely you would book a hotel with free cancellation ?
