Who Said There Is No Money In Speedway
heathen chemistry replied to Argos's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
the only money in it is for your at the very top .....which has to be the case , what else could all other riders aspire to become ,,, id be more concerned with other things that take a huge amount out of the game , ie the expensive engine tuning -

ive seen newman do similar too, sometimes going for gaps that dont exist seen riders deliberately knock garrity off too...... -

yes he got a shot in poland , and well done ......but if he dont deliver over there they arent slow to give you the push newman has had 2 yrs more experience than garrity, as newman 24 and garritys 22, so time is on garritys side -
and then move back down again when the new averages come in, some teams will be yoyoing riders all season, the timing as such could be crucial in play offs, imagine if davy watt was at reserve i would of had the top maybe 2/3 move up this year and carried on with the draft as it was before with them staying as reserve all season
-
whats the point of the draft thou if none of them ever moved up! or was the plan just to get them to improve just enough to become match winning reserves but not quite enough for top 5?
-
i got a feeling its gonna be a while yet before brandon's fate is decided,
-
this is newmans sixth season at reserve , remember jason doyle was one rider that once seemed happy to be a half decent pl rider doubling up then it was asif someone switched a light on and he wanted to be a elite league heat leader..... wonder if some riders have been financially bribed over the years to underperform for the team

kids are the future full paying adults - get as many in - get the speedway bug - hopefully
-
the only other solution if OAP's dont like paying £17 is to buy a season ticket, would most likely take it down to about £14 a match you also get a programme thrown in aswell
-
in context thou it works out only a pound more than poole , cuz at poole its £2 to park free at cov and as i put earlier if you take any grandkids its free at cov whereas at most other clubs its a fiver for kids at poole kids ages 11-17 its £7 its free at cov other clubs the kids prices vary
-
so only one can move up into 1-5
-
be a good idea to give them a voucher for a free cup of tea or coffee, then some of them wouldnt need to bring a flask....
-
duno why anyones moaning really, some tracks charge for parking, also.....if an oap took any grandchildren in the past they had to pay a fiver per kid , its now free its only 2/3 quid more than other clubs for a average family 2 adults 2 kids coventry elite league cheaper than eastboune NL

more operations have been cancelled due to cuts and underfunding then any strike .... some gullible folks just believe what they read in ballshot papers like daily mail and the sun...... the torys agenda is to privatise the nhs , so there rich mates can buy shares and profit from it big time....... nhs is only safe with labour -

Speedway's Equivalent To War & Peace!§
heathen chemistry replied to Bryn's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
yes just turn to pages 22/23 2 pages dedicated to sponsors of poole, maybe it would be in speedway stars interests that poole continue to be successful also or was it just a favour from the poole supporting editor another thing why did the wolves promoter decline to comment in there section, david hemsley has some valid comments on the huge differences in strength betwwen elite teams this year, -
His comments on the world cup was quite shocking but not surprising, the riders dont get paid , just there expenses are paid , tai had to wait 6 months to get his back £2600 but there must also be prize money for the winners or top 3 at least
