“ In that league (NL),if there’s a decent rider to bring in, you should, s we’ve signed Jason Garrad, who won heat 2 for us at Kent. Jason has been on our radar for a while, and he will add some experience to the reserve berths.”

In last night’s programme, Schroeck says “ Kelsey Dugard is really struggling with a ligament injury and he shouldn’t ride again this season. He only did a couple of meetings for us, and we didn’t want to get into an Eddie Kennett type situation where we were taking advantage of rider replacement for a rider who has hardly ridden for us, especially in the National League, which is all about rider development. He then goes on to say why Garrad. He also mentions they are monitoring the Killeen situation but are not writing off his season quite yet.

Oxford vs Edinburgh - Champ - 12/6
Anzum replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It was versus Edinburgh in the cup that Kerr had his big crash. Jenkins and Heeps both won their IRR rides that night. I see they have moved RR to 2 and Atkins to 3. Hopefully don’t use Scott in heat 8 you would hope one of the others would still be highly competitive in that heat. -
Oxford vs Berwick - Champ - 5th July
Anzum replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Can see this being close. Knudsen was very good last year scoring 13+1. Flint likes the place too. Berwick won easily last year despite Etheridge having to withdraw after winning his only completed ride. -
Meeting abandoned after 4 heats.

So many falls so far, all bend 2. Now ambulance out for Kingston.

Can the Chargers get a result at Kent? Kent had big home win vs Belle Vue last time at Iwade.

To me only contentious decision was the Clouting exclusion. -

Doyle Ellis Harris Clegg D Thompson Smith Hagon -
Jenkins, Stoneman, Atkins, Killeen, Scott and Clouting return. Last rider to be announced in the new year

I don’t believe you can pay at the gate. I haven’t seen anyone do it. There aren’t any turnstiles just people scanning your tickets.
-
Said at the Chargers meeting, that they will be running teams in Championship and National League on Wednesdays in 2023 Also if Chargers don’t make play offs there will be an individual meeting in October.
-
Tonight at Oxford, they said it has been extended to October 2nd to give a greater chance for the Armadale v Belle Vue match to take place. Allows the Sunday to be used if needs be.

Shame Jenkins was ill. Top 2 for Mildenhall too good. Anyone else think the red lights should have come on in heat 15. Hagon only just got bike off before Clegg came round again. Closest one I have seen. I believe it may have been Dan Gilkes who was out having a few laps after the meeting.
-
Oxford Jenkins, Atkins, Hagon, Scott, RR (Stoneman), Butcher, Clouting Mildenhall Edwards, RR (Bebee), Kingston, Spooner, Clegg (g), Warren, Muff This and the return on Sunday will go a long way to finalising who makes the playoffs.

Championship Pairs 2022
Anzum replied to Triple.H.'s topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
They always mention the pairs meeting, during one of the gaps in the racing, when discussing what meetings are still to come this year. They definitely give the impression the meeting will be on at Oxford on August 12th. -
Riss guesting for Nicholls and Jenkins guesting at 7 for Oxford. Edwards guesting at 6 for Leicester. Oxford have to win to keep the slim chance they have to make the play offs alive.
-
I would have said there were closer to 50 people there. Interestingly, someone local said first time the gates had been locked at night.
-
Yes regular shuttle bus. I have seen people with chairs so yes you can. Not tried the food.
-
To be honest, I think Scott and Troy will have to go almost unbeaten. Hopefully 5-1 in 13 and 15 to nick it 46-44. Will need back up from the others though. Summers first time on the track too. Troy and Scott won’t get a rr ride unless as a Tac Sub.

Young Luke Killeen, hope I spelt that correct since a couple of version on Oxford website, makes his championship debut to guest in place of the unlucky Josh MacDonald who is injured again. Kyle Newman also missing. Going to be tough for the Cheetahs.
