  1. Saw Batch suddenly slow when I thought he was going through to lead. Enjoyed night and even further if you live in Gloucester. Probably won't go to the first league meeting but may go to the second one if it is an important one for play off qualification.
  2. First trip to Foxhall and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cracking ride from Adam when we needed it in heat 14. Don't think Jason will be team riding for a while again as he definitely looked across to see Lampart before Allen swooped passed them both. Still he had 3 and a half laps to pass Jake and couldn't. Good ride from Jake. i was at the wrong angle to know if Batch had a justifiable reason to be so unhappy with KP though I see one poster on here thought he might. I did see Heeps lose control and side swipe Tobi but with no one coming down the race was never going to be stopped. The same way King was always going to go when Batch went sideways, very similar to the Lampart Josh G incident at Swindon v Poole. Doyle was class and wheelying in victory in a couple of heats. Tobi was on top form not sure if his first ride incident fired him up. Great first and second bend in heat 15 when Lawson tried to take him wide. We had all the Batchs on display and as previously said when we needed him Adam came up trumps. Lampart went from not being able to turn to being competitive if not scoring too many points. The two reserves struggled and Zach so far isn't gating like he did last year. Be interesting to see when they meet lesser averaged reserves. On Ipswich side Allen was superb. Nothing is going right for Bellego, because it definitely looked like he thought the race would be stopped when Shanes fell. Finally, very friendly bunch of Ipswich fans near me and some good banter and a wish for my safe journey home. Only got back at 3am after dropping son off in London but well worth it.
  3. Planning on driving across to this so would appreciate another weather update late morning. It is a long way to go for a rain off.
  4. Whirtzfeld looked very good as did Norris. Sheppard was clear when ef on lap 3.

  6. Zach and James are at Eastbourne Swindon have Berge and Sarjeant riding for them
  7. I just hope that Speedway can take place after the first lot of work and isn't relying on the dog track alterations to be done as well.
  8. If the track isn't right they will struggle to keep Jason quiet.
  9. Seems he didn't last season. Finished 2012 on 4.93 but rode for Coventry for 6 meetings in 2013 which brought his average down to what Poole got him on last year. There was a lot of confusion when Poole signed him as the last end of season figures he appears in was 2012 even though he rode a little bit of 2013
  10. Szczpaniek came back on lower average than he left so it will be interesting to see what average he is on.
  11. So Rasmus Jensen, Mason Campton or Jonas B Andersen fit. Last one averaged nearly 5 for Wolves in his 7 meetings for them last year. Slight worry it seems they aren't going to use him, but then they didn't want Tobi. Also big difference in his home average compared to his away average.
  12. Relatively new to speedway, only got interested in 2012. So next year will be first time Nick will be riding against us in all likelihood. All I have to say is thanks for the memories.
  13. Someone on sportowefakty has this list Hancock, Walasek, Zengota, Sunstroem, Berntzon, Gapinski, Curzytek, Iversen, Curylo, Bellego, Pieszczek, Mazur, Tarasienko, Karcmarz, Jamrog and Baran
  14. Best 2 scores out of three rides so Nicki only had 6
  15. Who decides when the 2 minute warning goes on? Last night several of the restarts mechanics and riders on bends 3/4 having made what alterations were needed, topped up what little fuel was used, were standing looking over to start line. The tapes had been fixed and the start Marshall looked ready. Still no 2 min warning started. I think the delay between the first attempt and the rerun of heat 12 it was about 7 minutes until 2 min warning came on.
  16. Injuries at the wrong time have cost us any chance in the league and the cup. Two guest reserves tonight scored 2 same as at home to Somerset in the league.
  17. My son has gone to this and says they have run out of programmes, so hopefully means a large crowd
  18. Not going to be able to watch this until tomorrow, so thanks to R and R for competition and if I don't hold on in front congratulations to the winner.
  19. Batch beating Shamek Kildemand and Magic back in 2014 in a heat 15 v Poole . Nothing between all 4 for 4 laps. Pawlicki's second won the meeting for Poole which wasn't good but best race. Best ride which made my jaw drop, Paul Starke 2016 for Somerset vs Glasgow.Ride which made me most happy Nick Morris heat 13 last year v Wolves in play off final second leg.
