  1. Well done to the Tiggers in putting together a very competitive team so far. Whilst it`s never meaningless to beat Glasgow for those of us from further east, last Season it was beginning to mean a bit less, with the one sided thumpings. (Scottish Cup apart, which glasgow deservedly won whilst we were a bit light in the heatleader ranks) However 2014 augurs well for rekindling the rivalry and boosting crowds both ends of the M8. Heat 13`s with Cook, Masters, Kaiser and Pijper should be worth the admission money alone. Hey! i might find myself at Ashfield the odd Sunday rather than the golf course to `cheer` on a few of the Scotwaste Tigers!!
  2. Would certainly make for exciting matches at the `dale, whilst the fixtures at Ashfield would be on neutral territory. N`est ce pas?
  3. Terrific news after last years debacle and rider mishandling. Did he really pick the team using balls and an unlucky bag? Time to blood the young uns and dispense with those who have failed time and again. we can`t do much worse than last year. Tai is out on his own and should have a say as to who joins him in the team
  4. Comets kept this close, thanks to Howarth and the white line hugging Morris until poleaxed by the old firm of Cookie and Theo. Rusty had his poorest return at the dale ever as a visitor, and gated poorly. Lawson was his usual self and was never likely to beat Cookie or Pijper, so his 6 points was a par score.
  5. Lawson better than Cookie? Not sure how you work that one out. Last week at DP clearly omitted from your recall then.As Steve Whitehead said tonight Cookie has won 15 straight against the Comets in the last 7 days. Worky definitely hungrier team tonight and deserved the win and 3 points.I reckon that should get them through to the finals.
