A NATIONAL SPEEDWAY WEEK....with full blown publicity..."at a track near you" ..a festival kind of approach, local bands at each venue before AND after the speedway, picture opportunities, face painting, hog roast, etc, just throw everything behind a summer night, but money needs to be spent on "PROMOTION"..

Cardiff, in fact all gps, shows what people will turn out in force to watch, as did the big indiviuals in our heyday, olympique, blue ribbon etc. the golden helmet match race. public see a watered down product, and they are choosing not to attend

I think theres people who will support woffy whatever he says or whatever he does. I believe he is arrogant,(as twitter comments would suggest), he has put down fellow brits in a statement, and he has put down the lakeside track publicly. on the flip side, hes a terrific rider, and is at least giving this sport coverage.

in fairness, especially on here, if a statement like that is expressed, you can understand people wanting to know who it was?

agree with you 100%, I'm sure theres many like myself, who think he should make the effort, and loads are probably disappointed. I think hes made some rash twitter quotes that don't help his cause with some fans as well. now if I'm in HIS shoes, I see his point, world title comes 1st 2nd and 3rd....but one thing no-one can disagree on, is his commitment in the world cup, that 21 pts last year was stunning

i believe mike lanham pays (no doubt i will be told if wrong)...being part of a champioinship side, id personally say that should give them access, but i also see other side of it too

yes, I do see it, and everything about this thread, I get every comment you have made. Personally, I would of liked to of seen Tai go the extra mile on this occasion, but its not to be. I'm sure no-one will be bothered once ht1 of the world cup final starts!
