At the Plrc when Sam Masters won my wife and l ended up in the company of cookie before he rode for edinburgh, he is a legend really funny and i convinced him Glasgow were a better club that night. Another rider i found great to have a beer with was Chris Neath felt like i knew him all my life a truly lovely guy. There are many more who deserve to be mentioned but a special mention to diesel dave, joe screens mechanic, you gotta love him my kind of englishman didnt mind photos either.

ragdoll64 i guess it comes down to personal opinion. Kevin was at it,we knew it, he knew it. No teams squeaky clean but we are talking about a individual rider here. I reckon only edinburgh would touch him with a barge pole in the championship after that, Unless it was only points money he was getting then he might try harder.

I agree the price coming down would help persuade more to attend.

Speedway first of all is about 4 men 4 bikes 4 laps of full throttle mayhem. If speedway isn't about that to you and you need big names for eg hancock, then you need to go back and rethink what speedway is actually all about. Id pretty much watch any level and enjoy it. On this forum I've came to realise that there is many speedway snobs who only want gp stars.....go and follow gp's then if thats the only calibre of rider you wish to see. Club/team speedway is the best way to get the fix with or without the big money stars.

It would have been truly amazing if Darcy was there but still a top notch line up.
