If you look on the Lion's website there has been quite a bit of support on Facebook & Twitter. Fans really need to turn up next Monday to show their support.

Not taken all this in yet but could there be a problem with getting young Commonwealth riders over bearing in mind the problems that some Australians have had getting visas? Also what will be the position with getting riders from the EU after Brexit ( if it ever happens)?

I. for one, am grateful that we have back speedway in Leicester. Some so called fans seem hell bent on making sure that we lose our speedway team again. If you don't like what's happening then at least try and be constructive and suggest some improvements!

Lakeside have said that they would like to be back in the Premier League next season. Not sure how that works!

As I have said before, if they want a team to be relegated from the Premiership, then the play off should be between the bottom two teams in that league!

Considering that the play offs are supposed to be on Monday & Wednesday next week the silence from both teams and the BSPA is deafening!

It would be far easier for the relegation spot to be decided by the bottom two teams in the top league having a home/away play off.

According to the SGB web site Howarth and Kurtz are guesting for the Lions tonight.

I thought that the attendance looked o.k. It was certainly not less than the attendance for the previous time the Lions rode at the OTA which I had the misfortune to attend!

I am a BT customer so get BT Sport for £5 a month. All the speedway plus football and, this winter, the Ashes. Cheap I reckon.

Did the 6 riders who actually rode for the Lions also have to pay an extra £50 each to cover for the one who wasn't there? Sort of rider replacement fine!

Been some heavy thundery rain three miles from the track in the last hour. Having looked at the line ups I should think the Lion's promotion will be desperate to get the match on!
