  1. Wow!!! Forgot that word existed!! Thanks for re-discovering it for me!!! Marmalise!!!! 😃😃😃😃
  2. What do you reckon? Change race format back, or change EDR rules now, not next year.. It can be done, it should be done, will it be done??
  3. Surely, if the promoters see how ridiculous this current situation is, they can call an emergency meeting, and change it? Obviously, some teams have fared better, but it could be changed, they do have the power... F1 changed qualifying after the season had started, once they realised they had f00ked up!!
  4. Well, we ran them close at Saddlebow Rd last night, the weather is set fair for Saturday, shouldn't be any Sun breaks, ideal temps for speedway engines, should be a good meeting.. LIONS to win 50-42, Inc a KL Tac Ride..
  5. Perhaps the heavy plant had to manoeuvre on other parts of the track, if so, May have sunk into the racing surface and accidentally revealed more substandard areas of the base??
  6. What will happen if Woryna goes to reserve? Can't have R/R, neither can he be replaced by another EDR, because he isn't one??? Go figure..
  7. Where are and who are these super duper replacements going to come from though? Kings Lynn, Coventry, Swindon, Leicester, all looking to strengthen.. Only Poole, Wolverhampton and Lakeside not looking to at the moment.. if KK and CH had got injured tonight, I just do not know where all these upgrades are coming from? Does anyone?
  8. Right...... Who's not gonna get thumped at Poole this year......? Coventry? Yes.. Leicester? Yes.. Swindon? Yes.. Kings Lynn? Yes. May not get thumped... Belle Vue? Maybe not. Wolverhampton? Maybe not. Lakeside? Maybe not. They will all get beat. It's not just Coventry that are gonna get a pasting, it's most other teams!!!!!
  9. Perhaps we'll only have one night left free from Europe, Tuesday!!! That'll be the EL night!!!
  10. But Klindt is not an EDR rider, is he? That would mean we had 3 EDR'S Wouldn't it..... Otherwise, if Ulamek then dropped to reserve and got injured, we'd them have to have another EDR, so we'd end up with 4 Elite Draft Reserves....!!! Surely, that cannot happen, even the 3 EDR'S!!! wouldn't be allowed to happen..
  11. Don't be so condescending!! We beat you last season, I agree, it was a bit of a fluke, but we beat you, never the less.... I think it will be tighter than you think.. a 10 point loss to the Lions, whilst using the t/r kept it to only the 10pts.. Or.. Lynn will have a shocker, and we have a great night and win by 4 pts (44-48) Inc t/r.
  12. It was, very poor indeed... There were also weather forecasts that were predicting thunderstorms for 6pm in the Leicester area, they didn't materialise trackside, although it peeeeeeeeeeed it down only 6 miles from the track, that wouldn't of helped.. Again, the supporters brain tells him not to bother with all of the call offs this year..
  13. When tracks are accidentally grippy, when it's been over watered or rained on heavily on the day, once a rider or two has been fired into the fence, or nearly straightlined going into the first corner, there's a pow wow in the pits and the grader/s take all the dirt to the airfence!!! So grippy tracks are a thing of the past i'm afraid....
  14. They could change it if they wanted to... F1 introduced a new qualifying process at the GP's, it didn't work so they changed it back sharpish!. Where there's a Will, there's a way!!
  15. Auty/Starke Should outscore Wilko & Rose Klindt If gating, could outscore Mads Summers Will be outscored by Lambert R/R Even Stevens Lindgren Equal to Sam Masters Hougaard Will be outscored by NKI This will revolve around the 14 races the reserves can take... KL 50 v Lions 42 Inc t/r
  16. So what happened with this crash, and what does someone mean there were vans on the track in the way?
  17. Deep dirt on the outside lines now seems to either kill the engine, or the bike grabs far to much grip and the riders lose their bikes! Also, the dirt on the outside lines needs fettling, and some degree of packing, otherwise it's like riding on kittie litter!!
  18. Holes, dips, crowns, adverse cambers, ruts, are notoriously hard to reinstate, crowns being the easier.. Holes and dips, even after filling, wackering, filling, wackering never seem to "stay" filled and always seem to get "power slided" out! Or absorb water quicker, soften, then get graded out! Where possible, it's much better to grind a hole/deep rut bigger and not to leave a vertical edge.. Fill the bigger hole, which is now more of a dip with small layers, wacker well, them another layer, wacker well.. if the problem area is really deep, into or through the base, then a soil stabiliser can be used in the initial filling, but don't overdo that stage, build the infill up slowly, difficult to do in winter if it's very wet, short of dry weather and little sun/warmth as the layers will not fully cure.... In my opinion.
  19. And that's a pain in the backside, they have to 're-grass it far to often, not enough natural light is killing the grass quickly... An oversight? Or poor design? Poorly thought through?
  20. So it's race day, you wake at 06:00, you can hear the rain on the window, do you think, could be a tricky track for the boys tonight.. Wonder if they'll start on time, think it's a big coat tonight, but still excited.. Or So its race day, you wake up to the sound of rain on the window, do you think, it'll be off, hope they do an early call off, I can then go down pub with mates, think I'll go to the pictures, I'll ring my mates now and organise where to meet.
