  1. Let's hope we ( Newcastle ) can pull a few bugs bunny s out the HAT
  2. Can't see Newcastle fighting another season at the bottom end ( I hope ) as from what happened last season I can't see the promotion standing for a side getting beat a lot & hopefully if riders do become available there would be a change or 2 made
  3. Any diamonds fans want there 1st speedway fix in 2022 ( 20th of march 4pm start ) lewi Kerr's testimonial meeting at kings Lynn.. if we get enough interest I'll run a bus for diamonds fans to help a great Newcastle rider celebrate his big day.. just let me know & I can sort a bus out & it'll be a great day to start this season
  4. See the ( Lynn news ) has made a blunder saying that new king's Lynn rider ( Steve worrall lol ) says Alex Brady is a breath of fresh air & compares him to mark lemon.. that's on speedway news 24/7
  5. Especially when your preparing the courgettes for lunch the following day
  6. Yeah I know & I never mentioned money as money can destroy a club if it's not run or promoted properly ,,, or there's been 2 much paid out on riders on big contracts ( look at 2018 Workington ) cleaned up then closed down so clubs need to be promoted properly & cut there cloth
  7. The new promotion have been working on this venture for quite a while now & they are rather good at it ,, just look how Berwick is run
  8. 2016 at Newcastle for Somerset he scored 6+2 from four rides down at number 6 & also has 2 falls from another 2 outings whilst in scoring positions.. I can't recall some of these negative posts when rob 1st took over & announced his 1st side before covid changed all that as clause vissing was on a similar average to BWD !
  9. Last time at Newcastle he never scored massive but was good to watch ! I recall the track was a bit greasy & he attacked it & if it wasn't for a fall he'd have probably scored a paid 9 from 4 rides so let's give the lad a chance to get dialled in & I'm sure he'll achieve a 8 & a half point average easily around brough & maybe hit a 9
  10. There was a few raised eyebrows when rob announced James Wright & he did a decent job last season & if James keeps his starting average or improves on it & say lee moves down to reserve then averages 5&half at home & 4 away well that'll be decent... At the end of the day we have another season of speedway at Newcastle to enjoy
  11. He doesn't do just a pint mind .. it's got to be at least a dozen & he's just warming up !! Hope he returns to the brough stadium next year .. but if he doesn't at least we'll be able to get a drink at the bar as he usually drinks it dry lol.. but yeah he's a good bloke with a kind heart despite what forum keyboarders think of him
  12. I've had to Tek some anadins,, me heeeeds banging
  13. Aswell as a wind up merchant .. take a look in the mirror yi tool
  14. Say noot on the books man as I'm sure my accountant is or was yours lol & yip all year round support Robs business
  15. Never a good time to announce the passing of a dear friend ( ken Davies ) who sadly passed away on the 11/12/2021.. ken was a avid supporter of the diamonds also an incredibly hard working former member of the Newcastle speedway supporters club committee & it's down to ken how the speedway club were allowed to be able to hold functions at the south gosforth club.. R.I.P ken you'll be greatly missed on the table near the speedway office every Sunday mate
  16. Don't forget the hog roast or hot dogs off Robs catering van.. top quality scran
  17. Big gamble as I was told about lee being linked at the beginning of November down at Scunthorpe after he's bought a couple of SWR tuned bikes so there won't be nothing wrong with the bikes performance wise so if he can set the stall out quickly & get race fit he should easily maintain the 6 point average
