  1. oh dear not a very good signing, if he hasn't even rode in a professional league hence the 5.00 average he will get hammered in the PL, he won't even achieve a 3.00 average, he rode at Redcar last year and was dreadful, nowhere near as good as Klindt and he is only a 5.89 average
  2. Im not sure what the big thing is about a team manager, do they really do much??, odd tactical reserve switch here and there and maybe throw in a back and white away from home, not much else really, heat 15's pick themselves based on top scorers normally, its not like the team manager tells them how to ride the bike.
  3. IMO I think he will be lucky to achieve an 8 point average this season
  4. His manager been on defending him even before he has turned a wheel
  5. Well, so no Kenneth Bjerre now thats a surprise, your supremo only dropped out them names to try and sell season tickets IMO, he was never going to Peterborough, all that suspense they were waiting for polish fixtures and finding the right rider and they sign Porsing who finished the 3rd worst rider in the EL last year excluding draft riders, and most of the time he was getting beat by draft riders. He hasn't even got a polish team so why were they waiting for Polish fixtures???. Porsing can't be brought in expecting to be number 1 as he is nowhere good enough for that but as a 3rd heat leader he should be ok, he will probably do the same as what Hanson did at Workington as they look a similar rider with averages, Peterborough have a good Number 1 and current PLRC champion so i don't see why people expected another number 1 coming in, IMO signing Lambert is the problem but there doesn't seem to be enough riders available so to be fair Peterborough have done well getting a full team at this late stage, maybe next year they will act a bit quicker and get a full 7 before all the good riders go, Just a Team Sponsor now and they are all set to go, just hope the team sponsor isn't a let down like the last rider announcement
  6. i really don't think it is Sheffield promotions problem that Leicester is running on that date thats down to the poor promotion at Leicester, its the Leicester fans that should be annoyed, Sheffield have a opening meeting at Owlerton against a Elite league club on their normal race day and normal race time so in my view the Sheffield promotion have done quite well there, local team for fans to travel to Sheffield, should be a decent meeting depending on who Leicester put in their team. Plus i think Sheffield will win
  7. Porsing is a decent rider not a number 1, Porsing is a 4.70 i think, in a weak 2nd string position in the EL so at best he is a 3rd heat leader in the PL but what do Peterborough expect, Bjerre isn't going to lower himself to ride PL and does anyone really expect him to turn the money down in poland to ride at Peterborough i don't think so and where would the money come from for Bjerre to ride at Peterborough, just remember no fan money this year and still no team sponsor
  8. All gone quiet on the hunt for a new number 1 and main team sponsor, wonder what the supremo has planned my guess is they have Monster Energy as sponsor and Gollob at number 1. if you read what the deluded fans on here say who they think they are going to get to ride at Peterborough Gollob could be an option in their eyes
  9. it won't be tyson i believe i read that his criminal record stops him getting a visa, what other Aussies are there to come to the UK, Somerset has taken the only half decent one left with Jake Allen and he doesn't look that good going on his results I've seen
  10. Not a bad signing with the current lack of rider availability got lucky with him signing for Leicester and leaving Rye, people saying on a false average but he has had this average over the last 3 years or so, its not really false but he is a decent 6 pointer.
  11. Peterborough won't sign Klindt, they are waiting for the polish fixtures waiting to see if they can fit a rider in who rides in Poland which would be hard to do as Poland is Sundays and Peterborough ride Sundays, id love to know who they are hoping to sign. i think Klindt would be a good shout for Peterborough
  12. Why on earth would Leicester sign Klindt when they have loads of points left to play with, he is a 6 point PL rider and if doesn't gate then he is utter rubbish and you need to be gating at Leicester. To be fair though Leicester look like a good PL team.
  13. Belle Vue have replaced Josh G with Ritchie Worrall and signed Steve Boxhall, so in my eyes they are weaker than last year and didn't win the league so why would they win the league now, they are also moving to a new track so won't have any home track advantage to start with and probably won't for most of the season. Coventry have 3 heat leaders as good as any in the league. Swindon have Somersets team from 2013 so if the EL is far better than the PL then they will struggle if we go on what people say on here about the EL PL divide
  14. Paco is in the Star today saying he can't wait and looking forward to riding at ipswich, he needs to be excited now because come May he will be out of the door cos he is shat, he seems to talk a good race but on his displays last year especially in the 16 lapper he needs to do it on track not just spouting bullshat
  15. Its quite easy to get people wound up on here, now breathe and relax. Merry Xmas.
  16. Seems like coventry have now a decent team looking at the others in the EL, Poole will run away with the league. i wonder how the top teams in the PL would go on against some of these EL teams i think they would be closer than you think.
  17. Stead seems a good option, he was very good when he rode for them, always wondered why they didn't use him last year, top professional and good rider but Norrie will do what he wants and probably fill it with rubbish riders again and finish bottom of the league
  18. Paco is in the Star today saying he can't wait and looking forward to riding at ipswich, he needs to be excited now because come May he will be out of the door cos he is shat, he seems to talk a good race but on his displays last year especially in the 16 lapper he needs to do it on track not just spouting bullshat
  19. Be either Klindt or Heeps I'm guessing, Etheridge for either of them 2 is not a good team choice so maybe Rye have been lucky that Edinburgh have got him as look at his scores in the Star today not very impressive against unheard of riders, Adam Ellis is better than Etheridge i would imagine, worrying times for Rye if they have lost a rider this late on.
  20. why? who are Peterborough expecting to get that rides in Poland, all the PL standard riders are already signed up in the PL who are going to ride in Poland, maybe the supremo is waiting on to see what Woffy or Hancock are doing, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned them yet as every other rider in the world has been linked to Peterborough. what Peterborough fans need to realise is that they are a middle of the road PL club and that is it, they have the current PL riders champion who is a good number 1, their mistake is sticking with the 5-6 pointers, should have gone more strength in depth as its proving there is no 8 plus riders available. Still no main sponsor either worrying times I'm as they heavily relied on the supporters to fund the promotion last year.
  21. if the supremo is waiting to see the polish fixtures maybe he is signing Gollob
  22. like most teams theres question marks but lets all wait and see when tapes go up, don't think any team really stands out Glasgow got 4 good riders then 3 reserves if any team looks to have a strong top5 its ipswich but have 2 poor reserves. scunny could be dark horses
  23. the reserves need to be good at home as when they go to likes of Scunthorpe,Rye House,Berwick,Sheffield, Peterborough, who all have a experienced lead reserve they will get slaughted as neither of them have seen most of the PL tracks and there is a big difference with riding on slick NL tracks to PL tracks, but good luck to the pair of them they were both very good in the NL last year.
  24. why should he be on a 3.00, he is from NZ and has not got a british passport, he shouldn't have been allowed to ride in the NL to start with
  25. No Readypower sponsorship or no gift aid from the fans could spell trouble at Peterborough this year plus no number 1 rider, oh dear
