  1. Wilson-Dean will have a reality check in the PL, its a massive step up from a weak NL, he will do ok but i don't expect him to get anywhere near a 5.00 average, look at Adam Ellis he hasn't achieved a 5.00 average in 2 years of trying in the PL, then there is riders like Ashley Morris and Stefan Nielsen who again can't achieve a 5.00 average in the PL and in my opinion are better riders than Wilson-Dean. Same can be said for Jake Allen if as rumoured he is going to Somerset, 2 very big gambles but if they aren't cutting it Garry May will just get rid like usual
  2. could it not be Adam Ellis and a 6.5 rider ? i think Howarth will be at Somerset
  3. Josh G Rohan Tungate/Howarth Charles Wright Paul Starke Jake Allen BWD/Ellis Zak W/Greenwood these are all the names linked with Somerset on here, and looking at the other teams not many options left, don't know if it fits as not sure on what averages Allen and BWD are.
  4. Robbo isn't getting any younger and can't see any improvement will do well at Newcastle Klindt is very poor when he doesn't gate everyone in speedway knows this, a 5 month winter break isn't going to change what he has been doing for the 4 years Heeps is quality and will improve he is only 20 years old plenty of improvement in him Lanham again like Robbo too old and doesn't want to get in the mix, no improvement in him will maintain his average at best, 2 years ago he was a 7 point rider, on the slide now Don't know who says morley is the top reserve he is quite poor what I've seen, Eddie is a top rider regardless of what heat, everyone know he doesn't like heat 15
  5. Garcia bought bikes from Ashley Birks this year so his equipment was fairly good i would think, regardless of what machinery he is on he isn't very good you could put him on Chris Holder bikes and he would still be very poor thats why he dropped from a 5.00 average to a 3.00 average and his official average I'm guessing is a bout a 2.00 at best. My point been that if you put Richard Lawson on a Garcia bike and Garcia on a Lawson bike, Lawson would still get 10 point plus at home and garcia would still get 1,2 points at best. so If Glasgow are buying him all sorts of bikes, equipment surely there is a British lad who could have that investment and be better than Garcia,
  6. Is Bellego any good around Redcar can't remember him been outstanding there over the last few years
  7. Cant see Worky letting Howarth leave, he is what still only 21 years old and a very good overall rider and they own him
  8. i think you are dreaming if you think Bjerre is going to Peterborough. Does he really need to lower himself to the PL
  9. Why Would Bjerre go to Peterborough he rides in Poland on a Sunday and Peterborough run quite a few meetings on a Sunday, i don't think it will happen and who says he want to do PL
  10. not a bad looking team, but didn't they have these same riders last year and finished 3rd from bottom of the league, chuck in taylor poole who has spent over a year out of british speedway it could be a big ask even to get to the play offs
  11. Premier League is Broken according to CVS haha. this has come from someone who last night said they have Freddie Lindgren as a heat leader but starting as a 2nd string, they have a reserve in Howarth who for the last couple of years has rode in an EL 1-5 but is now a EDR. they have run a reserve system which quite frankly has been a joke over the last couple of years so he really needs to work out which league is Broken the buffoon
  12. As i see it the team does not seem that bad, wait until everyone else has announced their teams, they have Bomber who is a GP rider and one of the best EL riders in the last 10 years, KK yes had a bad season this year but he is a class act and i can't believe people think any different, Garrity is probably one of GB best rising stars and will excel this year I'm sure. Sarj yes does jump a few starts but he has shown he can do it in the EL and Josh in the last 2 years has come on leaps and has won both U19 and U21 title in the last 2 years, King is a solid 3rd heat leader and how many teams will have a 3rd heat leader as good. granted the new lad is a gamble but is it a gamble worth taking based on what other teams are going to put out, just my opinion
  13. where will Howarth be next year as not much mention off him on here
  14. Well Peterborough's Promotion need to get their money from somewhere as last year the fans gave them near 50K to run the club, so ripping people off on season tickets must be their way of doing this
  15. I'm going to take a rough stab at Edinburgh team going on who has signed for other teams and who is left. 1.Masters 2.Mark Riss 3.Ryan Fisher 4.Erik Riss 5.Kevin Wolbert 6.Max Clegg 7.Not Sure as there are many possibilities
  16. I think every promoter who has had Klindt in the last few years keep thinking he is a 8 point rider but sadly he is a 5.89 average and people need to realise this, why is he going to improve at Rye House?
  17. I don't see what all the fuss is about young zak Wajknecht, look what he did riding for Sheffield at the end of last year, he was quite poor, yes he maybe a talent in the future but he has a hell of a way to go and i think there are better 3 pointers for next year like Greenwood,Greaves,Williamson, Scunthorpe will go for the cheaper option i think as all the 3 pointers are more or less the same standard so nobody is going to get a great advantage
  18. i really wonder who Scunthorpes 3 pointer will be, there isn't anyone who jumps out at you, Benji Compton maybe
  19. a very good post, quite agree with the reserves, ritchings is a poor choice I'm sure there are a lot better and Castagna is in because of his last name, he is no Armando thats for sure he really struggled at Sheffield on a big open track but we will see he may surprise us all
  20. Could be a good link up both French and will more than likely be friends, Berge is still very young but is very talented in my opinion, heard he had a rough time at Glasgow so a fresh start may do him good
  21. very well said, he is an exceptional PL rider and he will be the rider to beat again this year, should maintain his average as he has this average for a reason, injuries are part and parcel of the sport and they all get back on their bike and carry on, very good 1&5 Sheffield have, will do well in the pairs i would imagine. and if they throw in another good heat leader they have the makings of a good team.
  22. Good rider lots of potential, if he stays injury free he can become their number 1
  23. Looks like Peterborough are taking over from Workington as Team Denmark. good rider but it does worry me the lack of British Riders not getting used in the PL, is it because there isn't enough Brits or simply promotors wanting to use foreign riders who I'm guessing will be a lot more expensive than Brits.
