  1. To be honest he has looked very tentative all season, he gets beaten up so easily especially on the first turns, in Poland if he has a rider get anywhere near him he backs off. He needs to go to the Bartosz Zmarzlik training school !!!
  2. Great days, me with my mum and dad always did Wolves on a Friday, Cradley on a Saturday and Birmingham on a Monday. I was at Gothenburg when Ole won his first world title. The two riders always give Ole a good run for his money around Wolves was Michanek and Ray Wilson
  3. I agree with you regarding Ole, I was fortunate to watch Ole week in week out at Wolves in the early 70's, for me Ole and Gollob were the two most graceful riders ever to throw their leg over a speedway bike
  4. Yes, but on that track he could be a different kettle of fish. Got very fast engines this year
  5. Strange one regarding Dan, he had some good rides in Poland for Rybnik on Sunday
  6. Bit unfair, how can you have the audacity especially as a journalist not to back me up as Kenny was Brit through and through
  7. Lambert out, the great King Kenny Carter must be pissing himself laughing up in the skies. The only good thing Lambert out is saving himself fuel. RIP Kenny
  8. So pleased Cookie has landed up at Lynn, I honestly believe he will end up number 1 at Lynn. He will smoke Lambert!
  9. Well you cant have watched Ward & Olsen much at Wolves!
  10. Wolves as Favoured the gater, nope, watched speedway at Wolves from 1968, far from a trap & go in general!
  11. Had a long chat with Roberts mechanic at Belle Vue, very open to talk, said that Lambert is so stiff on the bike & nothing flowing, said nothing wrong with equipment, but he will just not listen to people around him!
  12. You are wrong, Swindon always let my missus in!!
  13. Yes, you say better at Lublin yesterday, Kurtz rounded him on the last turn, just watch the body language of Robert going down the back straight into the last turn, all wrong! He also looks so stiff on the bike, nothing flowing
  14. Strange how items come about, a couple of years ago I was at the Halifax reunion, they had a small auction & a old autograph book come up, I got for a few quid, full of old autographs, all 3 Craven on one page!
  15. IMO this is a step to far for Lambert at this time in his career, hope im proven wrong. He is getting beaten up on the first turn big time in Polish league, but the bar is set a lot higher in the GPs!
  16. And how did Cookie do in the GP QR at Togliatti||
