  1. The main stand is fully seated but a few steps. The small stand on second bend has wheelchair ramp as does the balcony in front of the bar
  2. Kevin Keay on BBC Tees, http://www.bbc.co.uk...s/p053rq7x#play 41 mins in to the programme.
  3. Kevin Keay on BBC Tees, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p053rq7x#play 41 mins in to the programme.
  4. That is one accusation that can never be leveled at the new Redcar promotion, even down to the more trivial matter of track preparation there cant be a more "level playing field" prepared track in the country. Anyone that has ever had an accident will know that after effects can appear minutes or hours after the event when the adrenaline has worn off. If this was, as I believe, the case then the paramedics should and did over ride everyone from referees to promoters.
  5. Redcar did not go past the curfew so how was "going past the curfew" sharp practice?
  6. Do you mean the council rules? Breaking their rules could lead to permanent closure, does anyone want that? Richard was not excluded but we have seen one major refs ruling overturned so why not the exclusion issue.
  7. It is 10pm and I believe it is a council stipulation in the lease. Redcar do comply with the rules.
  8. I might be wrong in my thinking but what if Richard Lawson had been disqualified (as I think he was the cause of the stoppage) then Redcar could have gained 1 (3-2) heat point and not lost 5 (5-0) in a two rider rerun of heat 10?
  9. Redcar promoter on BBC Tees day after Coty/Richard incident, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p053052h#play 40 mins in to programme.
  10. Same at Redcar, 50/50 draw a record payout ( one indicator of numbers)
  11. Thanks WK but it would seem you are the only other one interested in finding a consensus of members views and so unless anyone else is interested maybe just put it down to a missed opportunity for change .
  12. I agree, the powers that be are never going to trawl through the discussions on this or any forum but if they can be presented with the results of simple polls after the discussions have taken place then they must be something to be considered. What are the priorities? Or are there reasons not to go down this path?
  13. Not quite sure how a poll will help but are you wanting to poll members to get some backing for your thoughts?
  14. The attendance figure poll has been running for two weeks now and stands at 70 - 30 on favour of publishing attendance figures. Now that the feelings of supporters have been made known on this subject maybe its time to think about closing this poll and starting another on a subject where there are clear cut "Yes" or "No" options such as "Should tactical rides be stopped?" (or any other questionable topic). Is there any interest in getting the feelings of all members through a poll and not just the ones who speak out by posting?
  15. I still don't see a problem although the topic is very confusing with what looks like missing posts. Not sure if calling a member a "Bampot" is within the rules of this forum?
  16. Sorry but I haven't seen anything worse from gustix than anyone else, maybe you could give an example of his wrong doing.
  17. 50 to 23 in favour of publicising accurate figures. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=84163&hl
  18. We are told time and time again how friendly and good natured speedway supporters are even to rivals so why is this "goodwill" not shown (with an occasional lift to the track) to a supporter who has difficulty attending his beloved sport? Instead he endures constant hostility. I don't know gustix from Adam but I am sure someone will enlighten me with, no doubt, more hostility against him.
  19. Any chance of a link to where the chairman stated this? It would be interesting to know his thoughts.
  20. Dont forget if you want to have any chance of getting to know attendance figures vote Yes in the poll, http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=84163&hl Sorry to keep reminding everyone but the poll will have to close in the near future so get your vote cast.
  21. A good reason to follow this link and vote Yes, http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=84163&hl
  22. You make a very valid point foamfence but there are many valid points on many subjects on this forum and it is difficult to know what is the majorities opinion. There are prolific posters and there are non poster this is just a way of hearing everyone's view, maybe a different topic should have been used and could be in future polls.
