Eastbourne Vs Birmingham Saturday 1st July
Alex2000 replied to Alex2000's topic in National League Speedway
How is Hume riding in both teams may I ask? But It could give us the edge Halsey never been great around Arlington -
More to the point who is going to be in the Eastbourne team... fear this could be a walk over if we get the wrong guests. Good luck to Tom Brennan really looking forward to finally seeing him in eagles colours.

if that's true not having Zac could be a tactical move although they will probably win anyway if our team is still depleted

Anyway what's the interest in this match? Birmingham will win mildenhall won't. What else can we talk about -
I believe he is in Berwick. i mean hes doing nothing in the PL and NL would benefit him more... wonder how much groveling it would take.

Kind of hope weather is bad so it gives us time to get sorted and maybe have perks available

But Matt Williamson guested for us and he has that next to his name. Also Zac Whatshisname has as well. -
I was nearly right then lol. Have a nice evening

Ellis continued in the meeting which might signal that he's not too worse off. We will find out if he rides for Poole later this week. Knight has an ankle injury but he tweeted saying he'd be back Saturday. Not sure if he will be though. Powell out for a while meaning a possible extended run for Brennan or bringing in the likes of a spiller

No it's probably just pottinger doesn't want to go all that way!

think that's what he's saying... The football isn't worth watching. I heard a rumour they are already warming the plane engines up and filling the drinks trolley

Dan greenwood what is he a free lance rider? Rode 2 or 3 times for us in a row now 3 meetings for Kent -
I think he will score decently. Just the occasion that may get to him. He was recording PL times at Glasgow

I think Morley is the better bet out of Wilson, Branford and Morley. He is the most consistent this season -

someone must have hacked my account lol maybe I am coming to terms with speedway after all -
What I mean is Kings Lynn are more likely to lose on their first visit as they need to dial into the track

you know that the guest always goes in for the rider they replace. So even if the average is lower than Ayres they will still ride at number 1. Whoever rides for Bowen will have the 10.6 average he has attained which would make it sensible to abuse that size average and get a good number 1 guest -

Alex2000 replied to lucifer sam's topic in National League Speedway
he has a higher average than Ellis at the moment but not sure if that's allowed? Jake Knjght also beaten all Birmingham heat leaders. Dan greenwood? Plenty of options that won't necessarily put you on the back foot -
they are more likely to do better the second time around so the KO is more important the lose
-
Good news for us Ellis is back at number 1 Sunday

I'm going to listen... Shame periscope is banned as the speedway now! -
Tom Brennan will ride Vs Birmingham, Kent and one other according to argus press release 20mins ago. Luke Harris will make way for him in one if not all of these matches Tom Brennan has been told he will celebrate his 15th birthday by riding for Eastbourne Eagles against the champions. The British 250cc champion from Hassocks is being thrown into the National League on July 2 as Eagles host title rivals Birmingham. He will also ride at home to powerful Kent on July 23 plus one more home fixture. Brennan, arguably the hottest prospect in British speedway, will have at least one away fixture this year but he will not be a permanent team member for now. Eagles will take him out of the side before he establishes an average which could hinder him next season. He will also continue his assault on the British Youth Championship for 500cc, a competition he leads by a single point ahead of Sundays round at Rye House. Brennans debut will see race against the league-leading Brummies and the best reserve pairing in the league in Jack Smith and Jack Parkinson-Blackburn. He will partner Charley Powell at reserve against Birmingham with Luke Harris stepping down for the meeting. Eagles chairman Martin Dugard said: It will be a hard one for him but he will be under no pressure from us. "We have faith in Tom to score points and it will be good for him to have a taste of speedway at that level.

After the match the other day id pick speedway over the football... So many chances but just couldn't land it at least something is garunteed to happen at speedway! Also not sure it will do much to attendances after winning a trophy. After winning 3 last year ours have dropped if anything
