  1. Yes I guess so, heard a lot of different permutations of the same rumor over past few days. Its hard to know whats true and what isn't.
  2. that's a shame if that's correct as much as Tom is on the way up I think he still needs some time before he moves up to number 1
  3. As we saw today Brennan is a very good rider, however riding at number 1 won't be so good for him, so will knight be coming in if averages work to be number 1 allowing Baseby and wood to be at 3 and 5 then Brennan 2 or 4? I'm not sure averages calculated on here previously are right so this could be a possibility. If they did do this it gives Brennan more time to improve without the pressure of number 1 on in his back.
  4. I'm not going to read to much into the comments here and at the match as the comments in the program still make it sound like they are sticking with the team... of course I would like to see it happen but I'm not holding my breath. Shame for Kelsey last night looked very good in his opening ride hope it's not as bad as a broken ankle
  5. If hall couldn't ride for Birmingham because his average was too high from previous seasons 10 + years previous then hurry surely should fall into the same category.
  6. From the outside I think this has been handled really badly by lakeside never mind the fact hurry is no NL rider and is not going to develop in any way shape or form. Nothing against hurry but always been against him making a comeback just as the nl is becoming less stagnated.
  7. Because Buxton is more interested in running than lynn maybe? Fixture cancellations out of the blue and a non proactive management I dunno why they don't just give up with NL rather than get made a mockery of by every other team in the league... Hampshire has seen the light now and moved on I wont be surprised if others follow, if theres anyone else left of course
  8. I think it would suit him as he retired initially because of work so with a Sunday club that shouldnt affect him and less competitions mean not so many meetings but he can still guest if he wants extra rides
  9. What about Knight as he has also said he has signed for someone
  10. If you were at the pre season forum you will know how much work it took just to get us to ride in the NL this year especially as both Connor and Martin hold down full-time jobs outside speedway.I think they are happy where they are and if they were to try both leagues it would be a disaster as the crowds aren't massive. If they do it, it will be one or the other I think NL is where we will stay and it's the healthiest league out of the 3 atm.
  11. That won't work as perks is rising for Rye on Saturday's!!!!!
  12. Or waiting to find a 3 pointer. I hope it's eagles but I have my doubts
  13. Just a bit wierd he can't say who if the deal is done as it's kings Lynn as they dont need to change the team about do they? Which makes me think it's not them
  14. I would say Hopwood is guest on Saturday for Coles... how nice to have some certainty in the number 3 if he is
  15. I guess so just wonder who you could get on 3 that would do a job
  16. That's what I'm saying is if they were to redeclare with knight they would have to drop Dugard or Bates.. .. and I know for sure we dont want to drop Bates. Although it looks like change is needed in the heatleader spot I still wouldn't do it yet
  17. Dugard started well today and was looking good in the ride against Jenkins before he crashed. 2 exclusions of Powell were a bit unfair. My only real concern is Coles averaging around 0.8 in the championship and losing out to second strings and reserves at home. The trouble with suggesting knight to come back is it means a double change to the team and I am not sure that is right just yet.
  18. I don't Eastbourne can say very much as with the Kent episode last season when we were trying to sign Ellis.
  19. Didn't think he wanted to ride NL this year and wasn't looking like he was actively looking for a place and his signing came out of the blue. Not saying he wont ride any meetings just he will miss quiet a few.
  20. Perks won't be there for the whole season anyway I doubt so expect it to be common to have a guest for him. As he came across as if he was filling in in the press release of his signing
  21. The win was better than I expected with only Ayres showing... Mattie again had a second problematic night machinery being the main cause of the problem... wonder if that bike the fans got together to pay for for GC last year is still in the Dugard household... If so can't Matt give that a whirl instead at the next meeting? As he definitely has the potential to score between 6 and 9 a meeting if the bike holds out.
  22. that's good for Cradley tho as he isn't the best round Arlo so their guest will inevertably be stronger than Perry
  23. The first of a string of home matches this Saturday. Is Coles riding or is he at Newcastle? People may say it's early season but we must get these points or we will be on the back foot from the off. Looking forward to a good meeting hope the weather stays good
  24. looking at it on individual performance.... Brennan absolutely brilliant he is doing what I expected and much more. And that's as far as I'll go. I know the team will go away from today and look at what went well and what didn't go very well and they will come back stronger.... hopefully
  25. JPB guests for Coles and Bates is fit to ride, Ayres for mountain on the home side... could be a tight match
