Couldn't have been a worse time for Mr Mole to hand in his resignation as of this time next year... did he think that he could release it on the low down while everyone was celebrating? Unfortunantley yet another club thrown into uncertainty after next season. Although with recent success and decent crowds I'm sure someone will step forward.

Eastbourne Ellis Perks 8.68 Gazza C 4.70 Georgie Wood 7.53 Ben Hopwood 6.00 Jake Knight 8.54 Tom Brennan 3.00 Jordan Jenkins 3.00 I know its roughly the same as other Eastbourne teams but i think its a realistic guess. I really want to see Gary Cottham for more than one meeting and would be happy to sign him for next year as i think he can score well with the right equipment and help, looked like his heart was in his racing when we saw him this season. again we have 3 or 4 potential number 1s there in Wood, Knight, Perks and lesser but still Hopwood. Brenna and Jenkins would be best reserves in the league.

Just need to keep the 3-3 going as much as possible and capitalise when one of the young Brummies make a mistake. This will be the most high pressured meeting ever for some of the Brummie riders (barring perry and Ritchings) I'd like to hope that experience from Adam and Jake and maybe perks can keep us close. Adam15, Jake 10, Perks 10 and stoneman needs a couple just to pull us over the line. Obviously is a shame that Georgie can't be there tonight but family does come first. Plus if we lose there's always next year!

I'd say that it's the pantomime effect, he acts up to the crowd and we've got clusters of fans, mainly on the home straight who will act up back. I do though remember last season in the KO cup final he was riding for Cradley and had a crash/ knocked off owen. I was round by the pits and to say the least there were words exchanged between fans and his mechanic and him not pleasant ones at that.

Coming from an Eastbourne fan and I know he thinks Eastbourne fans hate him, it's a real shame his season has ended this way. He is a success story of British speedway of a different kind as he didn't start when he was 5. I hope he recovers quickly and although I know it will never ever happen I would like to see him in an Eagles jacket next season!

Tom beating Tom Perry proves just how good he can be (if he makes the start) I have found and don't know if anyone else has that Tom makes better starts off gate 1 or 4 although he proved yesterday he can do it wherever he starts. Great prospect for next season

Shanes is better than Ayres ATM IMO so won't make much difference there. Just hope Georgie can make it

I can't really see where heat advantages will come from I think discounting reserves it is going to hinge on if Jake can hit 10-12 this time and if Ellis beats Shanes everytime
