  1. Glenn Cunninghams mum is from Newport Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing! Welsh rider, AFAIK are, Phil Morris, Tony Atkin, Tom Brown, Jamie Westacott, Darren Pugh, Darren Hatton, Nick Mallett and Russell Barnett (but that last one is streching the term, speedway rider). I think the Gough bros, Graig and David have retired and Graig sticks to mechanicing for Wato these days. Does having a Welsh kid make you Welsh, what about a Welsh wife(I'm sure that does as there's a cyclist who is married to a Welsh girl and is in the process of becoming Welsh)? If so I might be able to get two more
  2. DawnG, where as when Nicki Pedersen rode into Gregs front wheel it was ok? No anount of "talent" coudl change that. Again, not defending Crump, just putting it into perspective. BTW, having seen the incident again, Crump puts his foot out and then Nicki DOES ride into it as he is turning left. Hmmm!!!!
  3. Dirtiest move ever? Kicking a speedway bike is hardly going to ahve any effect (did anyone notice any effect?) where as riding into another rider and putting him int he fence (a la, Nicki vs Greg) is going to have quite a nasty effect. I am not condoning what Curmpy did, it WAS wrong but it was nothing compared to Pedersen vs Hancock which was aparently ok! Crump was wrong, as was Nicki a few weeks back (see, us Crumpy fans can admit when he is wrong, unlike some of Nickis fans!)
  4. Turns out Crumpy was second, aparently Hans was 1st, I didn't see him despite the fact I was apparently looking right at my TV screen that showed Hans ahead of Jason. Fair play, Hans was good, he did well.
  5. Because any other way would be hypocritical! Yes, Crumpy was very, very naughty and it's not something that should happen.
  6. Having 2 Englishmen in the GP in Wales is an insult to Wales!!!
  7. Because the UCU is British and the FIM won't separate them. Which is a shame as I'd love to see the Welsh at last having a go, I know we'd not make it to the SWC Finals yet but in 2 or 3 years time when Westacott, Mallett and Brown are in the GP's we may be showing the rest of the World how it's done!!
  8. The Slovenians asked him to ride in the World Cup.
  9. I've heard of him but my point is why is Phil Morris such a ludicrous idea as a wild card yet Izak Santej is not? Whats the difference? BTW, where's Sandor Tihanyi? Surely the Hungarians won't turn up now?
  10. Who? And to think people said Phil Morris was not worthy of a wildcard!
  11. As it has run to 55 pages some people must find it relevant! As it is, the thread has gone off in a non-Hans Andersen direction now, so why get so worried about it? If you have a problem with 55 page threads why bother looking at them?
  12. So you've managed to pick to the posts where I had started to argue? Conveniently missed the first 5 or 6 posts with the emoticons? hmmm!! YES, that ONE post was wrong.
  13. Go Morten and Mads Oh God, I'm joining in with the groupies!!
  14. Again, it depends how you read my posts, seems some people have read that some people are getting bitchy and automatically assumed you have to be either very for or very against, it's just not true, sorry to disapoint you!
  15. Rampala beat Norris and Bjerre. Norris beat Bjerre. Bjerre beat Bhrel. Bhrel beat Rampala and Norris. So how do you work that lot out?
  16. 4 way tie for 8th? Norris, Rempala, Bjerre and Brhel all have 7 points each.
  17. Thats why wato struggled, he is used to the excellently prepared Newport track!
  18. It not like he could qualify, sadly, so pulling out makes no difference Hope he's well enough to ride for Newport tomorrow.
