What about Scott then!!
SCB replied to GeneralMelchett's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
JT, Neil Street manages to manage ( ) Newport and Australia and be in the pits at all the GP's "pumping up" the Aussies. So why can't Middlo do it? Surely if Neil can get from the GP's to the Uk, it's not that hard for Middlo to do it, is it? -
The BSI adverts are always taccy rubbish. The BSI Gp advert was equally nasty. Let Sky make them an advert, there adverts are always good. Whats with the bloody palm tree? Are the taking over speedway? First Swindon and now the SWC, how many palm trees at Arlington and Wimbourne Road? A rough guess, NONE?!

martyb_k11, there is only one person having a go at Greg. Everyone else can see it was clearly a case of Greg being unfortunate and making contact with Scott, in much the same way the Nicki/Crump incident was.

Nicki Pedersen Spits Out His Dummy Again
SCB replied to REAPER's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nicki admitted taking Crumpie off, so I'd say it's highly likely he DID take him off, he just claimed it was not his fault. I don't think it was, it was a rut but Crumpie had done nothing wrong so the ref could hardly exclude Crump who ws riding his line, stuck to it and would have done had Nicki not bene in his way -
Well if he did it to stop Greg it was a bit stupid hey? Surely He wanted a re-run at the time as Nicki's World Championship hopes would have bene helped if Jonsson had wo the heat, so he was NOT thinking of himself. I'm not Nicki fan, infact I can't stand him but after hitting the fence at that speed I think he should be commended for even thinking of moving his bike. Shame for Greg Hancock (who was 2nd but come 3rd in the re-run) that the referee was so keen to press the red light button. Also loved Nicki comment when interviewed that eh had no problem with Crump in the incident where he was excluded but he had a problem with the referee. Shame more people have not learnt it the referee that does the excluding, not the fallen rider who normally get the blame. On top of all that, he was brillaint entertainment when he was throwing things and teaching me new words (Danish, of course!!) when he was excluded.

It almost makes up for such a poor season. We just need Wato to get into the GP's now Well done to the young 'uns. -
Credit where it due, after a horendous crash in the final Nicki ran down the staright to drag his bike of the track. Not many would do that. Nice one
-
No, Greg was 2nd comming off the 4th bend when he hit a rut and flipped of the back, AGAIN!! That damn rut, it's had him twice now!
-
He made a mistake, he caught a rut. He should have bene excluded though, why should a rider have to fall for another rider to be excluded?

You know it makes sense!!!

SCB replied to Addy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'm still waiting for, "Neils Iversen, just 5 rides away from next years GP series". It HAS to happen soon. Despite the fact he is actually 7(5 rides, semi and a final). -
Nicki Pedersen Spits Out His Dummy Again
SCB replied to REAPER's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It was in 3 diffeent placs, the 3 incidents you mention. Nicholls was exiting the 4th bend on the inside. TRick was nearer the apex a bit wider and Pedersen was out mid-track somewhere between the two. If it's a rut it's a long curly one!!!! -
Nicki Pedersen Spits Out His Dummy Again
SCB replied to REAPER's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Tsunami, it's not so much the move but the reaction to being excluded for it. I'm all for claiming innocence, who wouldn't? But not so aggresively, not when he WAS guilty. -
Nicki Pedersen Spits Out His Dummy Again

I don't think he did it on purpose this time but boy did he throw his toys when he DEFINATLY made contact. COME ON PUK! -
I read somewhere that the top 80cc juniors would be giving demonstration races at the stadium. I assume it was them.

As a Welshman who will be sat at hoe supporting Team GB, I think the idea of collecting as many ENGLISH flag as possible is great. It's not like anyone wants to use French flags or anything. At the end of the day it's about letting the team know we're supporting them and when they see the English flag they'll know that they're being supported. When I support Newport I wave my Welsh flag, despite the fact we have 2 Danes, 2 Englishmen, an Australian, a Czech, and ONE Welshman but as my team is in Wales I expect my team to know that I'm supporting them. So come on, anyone who is going, get hold of English, Scotish, Welsh or GB flags, who cares, just let the team know you're supporting them and ignore the politically correct brigade. Just remember to call then Team GB and not England!!

Who will be the chosen 5 for their Countries?
SCB replied to JT's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Australia has to be Adams, Crump, Sullivan, Sheilds, McGowan. Boyce as back up at Poole, as much as I'd love to see Wato rid ein the SWC (and I guess he does deserve it because of his GP qualifiers(which he and Dave Norris will qualify from, with Puk in 3rd and 1st reserve) I don't think Poole is his type of track but then I don't think it suits Adam Sheilds so he might find Johnston or Boyce stealing his place. -
To be fair, the advert is for the tickets for the "real" thing and the GP advert selling tickets was taccy yet Skys GP advert was as it should be. Prehaps BSI should ask Sky Sports to make them a decent advert.

Jarek Hampel is out injured, 1st reserve Jonas Kylamkorpi is o injured (both collar bones I think?!) so Simon, as 2nd reserve gets a chance. Good Luck Simon

EC pairs semifinal 1, Terenzano 19.6.
SCB replied to tomazpozrl's topic in International World of Speedway
This is a joke right? What a competition, whats the point of it? Give the nothing countries a chance? Next year we'll have Phil Morris and Tom Brown representing Wales in this farce! -
You mean we had seats? I was only jumping up and down because I thought I had to stand up I've not sat, 4th bend, 2nd tier at the front. Backstaight, top tier at the front. 1st bend, bottom tier at the front. 3rd/4th bend, top tier at the back(of all the others). This year was probably the best, the 2nd tier was 2nd best and last year on the bottom tier was dreadful, it was quiet and cold. I thought that as we were undercover (from the 2nd tier) that the noise was not getting down there so well.

When will he get a break?
SCB replied to steve jones's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
garf is clearly refering to Les Collins. I think there will be a few young Danes in the GP series in 3 year time as well as the ones that are there now. -
The GP currently use a weird and wonderful, impossible to work out yourself, knock out format. It's all part of the organisers dragging speedway into the 21st centry plan. Basically, 2 3rd/4th's in a row and you're on your way home. Try www.speedway-faq.org (i think thats right) I would imagine the format is explained on there.

He seems to be having a tough time since his crash at Ipswich and despite all the "he's back to his best" and "he's riding well" his scores did not seem to suggest he was before the injury. I still thinkn Gary is ahead of his at Poole but I gues Joe is a maybe for Eastbourne.
