Pob replied to IpswichDave's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well that's another 3 points over to Plymouth your move -
Good night for Heeps as well . Best I've seen him look this season at foxhall
-
Well 3 points is 3 points . Nothing spectacular about tonight a weakened bandits team never really got going . Guests dud there job thought Tero was unlucky with only 4+1 . Maybe worth asking if he's free to guest at Ryehouse sat or has Mr Louis already got a booking for Stefan ?

overcast but warm light breeze

Is a bit lifeless at times , my Dad always tells me about the world team cup round they held there 25,000 fans packed into Foxhall. He was working on the track that day and said it was a rather awesome sight . The traffic was back up past the roundabout on foxhall road that day .

Would be more than pleased with that booking if we had to replace King

Taken from Witches website The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches welcome the Berwick Bandits to Foxhall on Thursday for another must win Premier League fixture. The visitors have an unfamiliar look about them with three guest riders - already missing Mathias Thornblom & Claus Vissing through injury their skipper Kevin Doolan has joined them after a big pile-up at Shielfield Park on Saturday night. They bring in Theo Pjiper, Richie Worrall & Luke Bowen as guests and will operate R/R to cover Vissing. Ipswich will be missing two riders with Nico Covatti still out with his hand injury and Ashley Morris on Elite League duty with King's Lynn. Tero Aarnio will come in for Ashley with R/R being used to cover Nico (all riders being eligible to take one of his rides). Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches 1. Danny King 9.49 ©, 2.Cameron Heeps 6.04, 3.Gino Manzares 5.44, 4.Rohan Tungate 7.07, 5. R/R, 6. Stefan Nielsen 4.34, 7. Tero Aarnio (G) Team Manager: Phil Hilton Berwick Bandits 1.Thomas Jorgensen ©, 2. Coty Garcia, 3. R/R, 4. Theo Pijper (G), 5. Richie Worrall (G), 6. Luke Bowen (G), 7. Richard Hall

Stefan has been called up to U21 Team squad for this Sat Aug 22nd the day we go to our must get something from the match Rye House trip . Need to get a guest in and hopefully if Mr Louis has got his thinking cap on don't short change us with a chip guest. Get the money our Mr Louis this could be make or break for our season . Any ideas people who you want to guest ?

The Witches now have 33 points after last nights point at Somerset and providing that they win both their home meetings that are left (Which this season is no certain ) that would put them on to 39 points . The Devils have 30 points but have 3 home meetings left so win all three (something i think they will in current form ) will also put them onto 39 points . So it looks like its going to come down to who can get anything on the road , Witches have Rye house away and the Devils have Redcar , Rye house and Scuthorpe
-
Grabbed a point after a mid meeting wobble don't think it's going to be enough come the end of the season
-
Did a very good job looking after Riss the other night at Somerset. No passing but in my eyes best race if the night Could say the same about stefan he never seems to look comfortable on a bike at Foxhall
-
As I said I can't moan about King to much as he has carried this team and his team mates haven't really stepped up . As for Mr Louis he not happy with the state of grass roots speedway in this country and the lack of young British riders coming through . He's said that there has been too many quick fixes over the years and now the sport needs a major overhaul. If you go to the speedway star site you can see what he says far to much for me to post the whole double page centre spread and phone not letting me copy it across
-
Well if Mr Louis words are anything to go by in the SS this week he's not a happy bunny and if things don't start improving said he may have to consider his position in the sport
-
Even if his team mate gates in front of him King always seems to be looking to get past and win the race instead of protecting them. But I can't have too much of a go at him him and Nico have carried this team for a lot of the season . Without them we could have been In a battle for the wooden spoon

Cookie ! Lol or should I say King backs up Cookie

Very professional. Poor Lanham comes in at the last minute adds 2 points to his average , has a bit of a wobbly month boom your gone .
-
Think you hit the nail on the head there . Danny at times has not had the support . Mind you if he looked for his team mate once in a while that might help . Can't fault Danny this season don't think he's let the witches down . Apart from Nico no one has really upped there game Did like the look of Lunna thou
