  1. Yer raining all over ipswich now sky looks very full this could carry on for a time . Don't look like just a shower to me .
  2. Had a little shower about 2pm over west side of ipswich but sun out now , ok quite a few clouds around but looking good for later but BBC weather reporting that more showers could be on the way later around tea time with the chance of some being heavier but these should pass quickly .

  6. THE Speedway Control Bureau have issued a statement following an incident during the Scunthorpe v Ipswich Premier League match on Friday July 17; For publication after 12 noon: Friday 24th July 2015. Release Date: Thursday 23rd July 2015. SCUNTHORPE V IPSWICH (Friday 17th July 2015) At the above Meeting Rohan Tungate was involved in an after Heat incident (the re-run of Heat 10), whereby Josh Auty was knocked off his motorcycle at the start of the back straight. Auty suffered an injury; the extent of which is still not known, as his arm/hand is still badly swollen. Immediately following this incident, which was unseen by the Referee and Clerk of Course, the Referee interviewed Tungate and others in the Pits to establish what had occurred. As a consequence of what Tungate told him, a £200 fine was levied upon him based upon his plea that it was purely an accident. Since then the SCB received a complaint and video evidence of the incident. In accordance with SR 3.3.2.2. the SCB Prime Officer viewed the video and made further enquiries of the Meeting Referee. The Referee is clearly of the view that the video evidence does not support Tungate’s mitigation of slowing down and being unable to avoid hitting Auty. Accordingly in accordance with SR 3.3.2.3 Tungate is given a 21-day Suspension of his SCB Registration (and a notification to his FMN). This Suspension, formally agreed by 3 SCB Officers takes effect from tomorrow, Friday 24th July. Tungate has a Right of Appeal under SR 3.4.7 to the SCB Court. Issued by: Graham Reeve, SCB Prime Officer Rugby, 23rd July 2015 the above just appeared on the the sgb website
  7. On last nights performance i wonder if Mr Louis asked Summers to guest next week against Scunthorpe ?
  8. Well done to Glasgow last night , a team that came ready to race at Foxhall good meeting. Enjoying the meeting if not the end result , Summers the star for you lot last night .
  9. Covatti has been doing it all season when there is some grip on the track just as well as he aint the best gater. Prob made more passing moves on his own than the rest of the team together through out the season , real good fun to watch
  10. 1 Day of the Ban and Tungate due to miss tonights clash at Somerset ........... Oops its been rained off !
  11. Really at this late stage , nothing against Connor but surely he is going to be way out of depth here . Levels is up i'd say swings alot more towards Glasgow Hopefully , 1 of them maybe but both don't think we'll be that lucky
  12. Please after all the finger pointing and arguments on this thread and the Scunthorpe match from last Friday actual racing seems to have taken a back seat. Lets hope for a cracking meeting tonight scores swinging back and forth , plenty of passing ,hard fast but fair racing and of course the Witches to nick all 3 points with a last heat decider is that too much to ask ?
  13. Ha ha nice try baldyman , i've got my twin girls coming with me but thinks its only to get chips and ice cream out of me . They don't like watching it on the TV but enjoy it live . Will say thou that they think it smells funny !
  14. Don't forget this week sees the start of 'Kids Go Free' for the summer holidays - this applies to all 6-15 year olds and runs until Saturday 5th September.

  16. Change of seat change of luck ? Yes Heeps does need to bring more to the table ok only back from injury recently but needs to push on now . Seems to tire very quickly as the meeting goes on . As for Rohan yer good call i think who ever said it put him back at 5 now he seems to have got his confidence back ,against Edinburgh last week in my eyes he put alot more effort into his races than he has shown all season at home and he looked quicker and more up for it .
  17. Well if he stays on his bike instead of visiting the 4th bend safety fence like he seems to do at least once a meeting at foxhall in recent times he has been back then he may well score a few more
