As in bargepole, touch?
-
Don't mention deliverance. Redcar people loved that movie. Mind you, Workington people thought it was a documentary.
-
Better add in Scunny now, too. Still a few spaces there for a reasonably high scorer.
-
I don't think so. That's why it was being sold, as I read the situation. If it was hired out, the big insurance would kick in.

Our car-load was delayed by traffic getting to Newport in June that year. We dashed in and were delighted to watch Alex Edberg absolutely wiping the floor with Charlie Gjedde in the first race we saw. Unfortunately, rain then came on, and match was abandoned after six or seven races.

Peterborough Panthers 2016

So, what riders are now still currently listed as Panthers' assets? -
Not just your opinion, mate! Everybody's!
-
True. But they like him better than Charlie Gjedde!

Other than Berwick, which tracks offer all kids up to 16 free, every meeting, every week?

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?

Liam Carr is an asset of Berwick. Don't know about any others. -
Ty Proctor comes from Victoria. He should certainly be expected to finish in the top for on Saturday (morning, in UK)

Best of luck with that one. -
rubbish-stirrers aside, the peace which has broken out is very pleasant.

If Redcar are doing their "transfer fee or no deal" thing with Matej Kus again, they've got a real nerve. They've taken David Bellego from Berwick -- on loan!
-
8th March, surely?

Coty Garcia bought one bike - 2013 specification - from Ash Birks, and that was his only bike throughout his time at Berwick. He worked miracles, on a very tight budget, keeping it going. Given a full season, and up-to-date equipment, he will serve Glasgow very well. At home in Argentina he scores on a par with, and often beats, Nico Covatti. I expect him to return to Shielfield in 2017 with a CMA between 4.5 and 5.00. While it isn't important in the scoring stakes, he is also a very bright, polite lad. Living locally, he will make many friends, as was the case last season.

Here's the thing -- how many of the above would be likely to improve -- say by a point -- their average in 2016 at PL level? Damn few. Berge, Garcia, Ellis, Sissis and Branford?
-
Not me, mate. I've had this accusation before. Not Guilty. Anyway, you're the fanny -- Dick's in Australia.
-
But does he cheat at the start like the last one?
-
Pavlova would be a good pick-up for Edinburgh, you might think......

Amazing how such misinformation is allowed to be bandied about. Or is it deliberate? On the night in question, the lad Douglas was wheeled out during the meeting, signed his Berwick contract on the centre field with the promotion beside him, and I think it was all reported in the newsletter. Not a mention of Doolan at any time.

Try doing it halfway through a season!
-
Bloody hell! You've made over 16,000 posts, the law of averages suggests it is hardly a surprise you actually got something right.
-
Berge? You think?

Well to me that's a pity, but if Taffy says it, obviously he must know. I'd have welcomed Matty back in a heartbeat, he was a great Bandit, ever so solid. But if Taffy's telling us he'll be at Workington instead, then so be it. We'd better move on.
