  1. Bit harsh, please tell me what Dany Gappmaier has done wrong this season so far? Also no point in getting rid of Ryan Blacklock as we have to have a 2 pointer and he has been fine just tries a bit too hard, Claus has also done his job, the rest on the other hand... Brilliant meeting tonight but we can't be getting beat at home, shout out to Luke Ruddick who was brilliant to watch and should be extremely proud of himself for his first meeting since last summer and to Josh Pickering who was immense and looks like a brilliant signing, I will go to Edinburgh on Friday and hope that a bit of spirit is shown by the boys. Can't see Carr and Doolan being dropped due to club connections but they need to dramatically up their game and the less said about the Frenchman the better at the moment. Nice to see a lot of Monarchs fans down tonight creating a good atmosphere.
  2. I have nothing against Luke obviously and have spoke to him on numerous occasions but he's a class below everyone else at the meeting and he knows that himself, good experience for him though, as for replacements Mountain, Hume, Bacon, Bailey, Wood, Stoneman, Halsey, Priest and Greenwood to name a few would give Davey a challenge, I still think we are capable of winning the meeting but it's a risk to put in someone as inexpeienced as Luke against our rivals in the league and it's a risk that in my opinion is not needed.
  3. Nah just no fuel to pay, plenty riders out there available that is capable of beating Mitch Davey, they'll race eachother 3 times as well...
  4. Looking at Edinburgh's score last night I think we might get beat if M Riss or Pickering gets going
  5. 51-42 Edinburgh don't have enough back up unless this Pickering is good from the off, will be interesting to see Mitch again and to see who we'll have at 7 if Ryan is injured as only a few options
  6. I'd give the whole team a warning that their place is under threat, give them a kick up the arse
  7. Give them a week or two and then take out the week links, plenty riders available without a job in our league
  8. 30 points at Ipswich and 30 at Sheffield with 35 at Newcastle so far, Newcastle (again), Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ipswich (again) to come
  9. I kind of just wanted to see if he could get a max as he seemed very comfortable in his 1st 3 yet didn't give it a go in 13 and wasn't in 15 despite looking so good early on
  10. didn't fancy it when missed the gate in heat 13 and just sat on his bike on the back straight until the race was over and then raced off to the pits, probably didn't want to get too muddy
  11. Sheff Grajczonek Bates L Bjerre T Kurtz Howarth Branford Blackburn Berwick Bridger Carr Berge Vissing Doolan Gappmaier Blacklock These would be the teams I would imagine as the Berwick reserves were both planning on being back for this, going for a Sheffield win with Berwick just missing out on a point with the score being 50-43 if Berge can get himself going.
  12. yet he scored 5 points on Thursday... behave, King, Cook, Masters, Grajczonek and Lambert all better than him
  13. I think the fact that Ipswich have Schlein now schould mean that they sneak through now 😉49-41 my prediction
  14. So we have 2 fans tonight by the seems of it, Dick Barrie and a monarch hahaha
  15. King 15 Sarjeant 6 Covatti 12 Heeps 5 Schlein 9 Hume 3 Mountain 2 52 then in the 2nd leg King 14 Sarjeant 4 Covatti 9 Heeps 1 Schlein 8 Hume 1 Mountain 0 37
  16. Vissing and Berge don't seem to like Foxhall so that shouldn't be a problem, just a case of hoping that Bridger can keep with Covatti and Schlein and keep the tie respectable
  17. Bridger and Vissing was capable of beating Lambert and Stevie Worrall last week so watch out😉although in reality any thing above 18 points and it's all over although apart from Danny and Rory I don't think anyone will trouble us majorly. On the other hand Dimitri and Liam havn't looked good so far and neither has Kev really, Ryan Blacklock never gives up and is brilliant to watch by the way and so have fun watching him terrorising your reserves with his elbows on the first bend and his all action style.
  18. 52-38 ish would set it up with a chance for both teams but Ippo should have the tie fairly comfortably imo
  19. From what I could see he got 3 from 7 for Glasgow and then 10 from 5 for Ippo guesting against P'Boro from last year, not a lot of choice to be fair so probably the best shout.
