  1. We shall see. I'm intrigued who your final 2nd string will be with an average over 7.
  2. It was Jasons choice as I understand it?
  3. Poole must really be the place to ride if riders are prepared to lose money to go there. Or is Coventry that bad a place to be? 😉😉😉😉😆😆
  4. I'm not sure if understand this correctly. Are you saying Poole shouldn't build as strong a team as they can? I understand and agree with your point about the points limit being too high.
  5. I don't know but as a shot in the dark would the fact their EL averages could be deemed unrealistic as half their programmed rides were against other reserves. I don't even know if that makes sense to be honest but I'll throw it out there.
  6. If that is the case then why are the other promoters allowing him to do this? Surely it is something that has to be agreed. I refuse to believe that if Ford says he wants something then the other promoters have to he just accept it.
  7. Yep 100% fair comment. Even with my Pirate tinted glasses on I can't explain that. Didn't poole protect Kyle anyway as their own asset? If this is the case then and then still got 1st or 2nd pick of tier 2 then yes, poole have done well out of these picks. But credit should go to Ford for being aware of the situation as he usually is.
  8. OK. I find that weird that's all. And a bit silly but hey ho we're all different.
  9. OK thanks. So that's a few then. Anyone else? I'm only asking cos I find it hard people would give up the sport they love no matter who was winning. It's like me giving up supporting Liverpool during the Fergie era at United, never going to happen. And to be fair those swindon fans who have stopped going for that reason haven't really been tested yet have they? Seeing as their haven't been any meetings since Poole won the last title!
  10. Just out of interest and by no means doubting the contents of this post, does anyone actually know anyone who stopped liking speedway or stopped going due to Poole apparently getting the benefits of every decision? Genuinely interested.
  11. Not me. Believe me or not, but it wouldn't bother me as long as it was within the rules. You beat the 7 riders the opposing team puts out and let those who want to argue about the whys and wherefore do so.
  12. Fair enough. Sorry, your post just made me laugh!
  13. Being a bit pedantic here aren't you? You're right you did not call Poole fans obnoxious. What you did do was imply they were worse than obnoxious. No idea what you're on about as far as people taking responsibility for their actions but just wanted to point out your high horse isn't really justified here ✌
  14. With all due respect that is your opinion and one which it is clear a number of other posters share. I'm not going to argue with an opinion as we all have one. However, to expect Dak, Dak's family or Poole to release full details of North Snr's medical condition just to appease those opinions is unrealistic. I totally understand the suspicion of course.
  15. Yep as long as a doctors certificate is obtained. I for one won't be looking for all the morbid details.
  16. Gutted if that's true. Although I would cheekily add that opens a door for a certain Mr Dudek?
  17. I got to be honest he was so much faster than everyone else a tiny part of me wondered about his machinery. But then I heard he'd been riding Dak's machinery so that suspicion was quickly quashed lol. Would have loved to see him up against Magic.
  18. Its certainly given Matt and Neil some food for thought. He looked so damn fast both from the gate and extending his lead with every lap. And I just found out one of his wins was on Dak's bike!
  19. Yes me too I think there's room for a bit of leeway where Holder is concerned. He's Poole through and through and ok he's been below par for some of this season but I'm pretty sure as a result there's huge scope for improving his average next year.
  20. You are right. I think the confusion comes in that the actual offence for which he should have been excluded for would not have given him an advantage. It's the fact the ref cocked up that gave him his advantage. Minor detail I know.
