  1. Ok let’s get one thing straight Horton as NOT got a Promoters Licence, you cannot put one “On Ice” like a Track Licence or a Retained list, So he will have to go in front of the BSPA and be interviewed to show that he is a fit and proper person to hold a Promoters Licence If he convinces them, then he will get his promoters license
  2. Surely Godfrey will have to resign now as the BSPA Vice Chairman, his position is untenable.
  3. Everyone is on Terry Russell’s back but if it wasn’t for him it’s more than likely there would no Speedway on TV, he got off his backside and got a contact yes he has made a lot of money out of it, but not as much as The BSPA, what he did was one of the best things to happen to British Speedway, he’s a business man, that’s what he does, good luck to him, and thanks to Terry I’ve been able to watch Speedway on TV
  4. PC has brought all this on himself, why oh why did he do the article in the first place, did he get paid?, nothing as been gained by it,
  5. Am I right in thinking that Peter Oakes was a Promoter in the past I also seem to remember that he was also Ivans personal manager, but my be wrong on that
  6. I’m sure Terry Russell will be using all is eastend blaggar to sort a deal out
  7. Yes we know the vast problems our speedway has, but the 2 articles were for fans in Poland so they would know what problems we have
  8. I believe its Workingtons end of seasons party tonight, it’s been a difficult season for the Fans I really hope you have some good news but I bet you will be told it depends on what happens at the AGM,
  9. Every time I saw Thommo he had a fag in his mouth and he was always smiling, always had time for the fans up in the bar after a meeting, a very under rated rider
  10. Is “Mr Up front and honest Midland Robin”still not allowed into Perry Bar, and if so why, does the same apply at Swindon, and is it true that him and Mr Rossiter don’t talk to each other, due to L. Adams fairwell meeting
  11. Well done Cradley Heathens, everyone realises that Hall is not a 6 point rider in the NL, he gets is average down to 3 in the Championship so he can ride in the NL on a 6, then he makes sure he only does 3 meetings to make sure he doesn’t get a new average but guests for everyone, with no thought for the Cradley fans, I saw him at Birmingham earlier in the season when he scored a 15 point maximum, if the BSPA allows him to start the season on a 6 who ever signs him will win the League hands down, BSPA make sure cheaters don’t win
  12. I hear theres a big spat going on between Richard Hall and Cradley re him picking and choosing his meetings, presumably to keep is average down for next season, I can see why younger riders do that but in Halls case this is not the situation, when Birmingham tried to sign him last season, as short term replacement for Tom Perry is average was 10.54, for whatever reason he is now on a 6.. average do you think is average should be re assessed
  13. Maybe Jane Moss can shed some light on this maybe
  14. Don’t think it was Jamie Halder, was it not Joe Lawlor at Cradley, last season Lawlor was guesting for every team in the NL, just like Drew Kemp is this season, on the end of season averages Lawlor was 3 as he hadn’t done 4 meetings in the league although he did something like 15 meetings in total, the league coordinator said because he did so many meetings he will have is actual average from the start of this season I would be very surprised if already NL Promoters have been on to the league coordinator to make sure the same thing happens with Drew Kemp,
  15. Yes there was and I attended it,The BSPA did lots of publicity for it, but it really was very poorly attended, but in the following weeks S.Star It was Godfrey who was quoted as saying it was a big success and it will be a annual event, and of course there hasn’t been one since, says it all really doesn't it
  16. When Buster and Godfrey were elected there first statement was we will listen to the fans and will have a annual forum, which they did, after it,it was stated by Godfrey It was a huge success and it will be a annual event The BSPA havent had one since, I wonder why
  17. Just seen the article, PC did a lot for British Speedway especially BV in the past and made a vast amount of money for is efforts, and now he is very bitter to the Sport, a colleague of my who is not a speedway fan seen it and I asked him his opinion to which he replied acting like a spoiled kid tend to agree, Its now up to Phillp Rising to make its a balanced article in next weeks SS friend or not
  18. Time and time again I hear Jed saying we are open with our fans, we are a well run club we are in a better financially position than for a long time blah blah, Jed you are a liar yes a liar you publicly state that Holder is unwell hes not hes in Australia, shame on you
  19. As it’s the official end of the season week Wednesday, any idea when today’s meetings are being run please, or are they not running them
  20. Just spoke to a colleague of mine that went to the match tonight he informed me the attendance was very very poor, anyone else that was there could they confirm this, or was it OK
  21. So its RR at 1 tonight so they must have a sick note for him, Jed is quoted as say he has the same illness as BWD
  22. Come on fellow speedway fans what did he get caught doing, I’ll not sleep until I know
