  1. So would I. He is less than Ty. Less than half a point higher than TJ. Morris as well.
  2. I'd agree. You could get the pair for around 14.5 points.
  3. "Mechanics" usually have jobs and do this for extra money, or know the rider to some extent, and do it for a mate.Maybe the real top guys have a team travel with them all over the world, but I very much doubt it. I wouldn't say most are classed as self employed mechanics. They change wheels, sprockets, maybe clutch plates, alter timing, that type of things, on the night. Usually they don't touch engines, that's a tuners job. I know an ex rider that used to spanner for Mads at £100 a meeting at Lynn. He had a day job. Not saying they don't deserve something/praise, but many are not "self employed mechanics", more like helpers and many do it for peanuts.
  4. I had a job to find it Martin. I reckon that 68 on a slick track ( compared to race night) would turn into 70 + or so on a race prepared track. Hope they were impressed.
  5. That wouldn't surprise me. Neils did seem very tentative at the AFA this season. It seems the track wasn't to his liking and it got in his head a bit maybe. His shoulder probably wasn't 100% either.
  6. No ones business, but I can't see why a rider of his ability can't get permission to ride here
  7. It isn't much, but can make a big difference if you have 2 or 3 when trying to fit a team together
  8. If he rides I can think of 6 clubs he won't ride for
  9. An Ippo stat for you Arch Ippo's new average speed set in 2017 is 45.96 mph
  10. Just thought it might be of interest to some of you. Notice the G force as the rider turns the bike. Makes you realise how hard it must be to hold on. Just click the link https://www.instagram.com/p/BSeOfPkARsn
  11. No point in removing it now you have quoted it. Have done though, just leaves your quote !
  12. Deleted Video now in Speedway News and Discussions
  13. 44.84 mph I use this. Just enter length and time and then X the answer by 4 https://www.countcalculate.com/cars-and-speed/average-speed
  14. Not listed, but if you have the length and the track record, it could be worked out. If 347 m and 58.2 are correct, its 53.36
  15. Oh deer.. It's Vinny Venison on a 3 then
  16. I've seen Batch practicing at Lynn, so the track wasn't grippy like a race night and I think he hit 68 if me memory serves me correct, so at 70+ on a race night The thing I noticed was how much the bike slows down when in the turns. Must take it out of the riders holding on.
  17. May I point out that Lynn is bigger and faster than Peterborough Lynn 342m.. ave speed 53.13 ... Peterborough 336m and 50.88 average speed And is the 2nd fastest track in the country apart from Sheffield 54.66 ave speed. I know fast don't mean good racing btw.. I wouldn't have replied, but the Panthers along side Ippo are the enemy in 2019
  18. Posted about a month ago, but the Rebels have dropped down now. Would always have a strong reserve. Or Lambo 9.31 E. Riss 6.08 A. Ellis 6.49 C. Wright 5.27 NKI 7.36 N. Covatti 4.70 S. Lambert 3.00 42.50
  19. It is what it is. I think Buster has saved the Prem as well as keeping one club going, and maybe 2( Don't know what was going on at Ippo) . I'm pretty sure he has done it in the interest of the sport. I suspect there is a buy back clause in there somewhere. No doubt Buster will have a wage limit, but he said Chris will carry on so I don't think theres a worry of fixing meetings, if that's your worry. Buster wouldn't want that and Chris would never agree, and i'm sure he can't wait to get one over the Stars. Looking forward to it.
  20. With speedway in the state it is, I think he is very brave and/or his pockets a very deep. No doubt he has done it to keep the Prem going in 2019.
