  1. Sounds like it would be an expensive gamble imho. But as you say just a rumour.
  2. I know its only your realistic side. But NKI and Klindt must be a no no for me. Puk has had a good year, and is on a high 7.11 average. Klindt is such an annoying rider, so up and down. Plus been there done that with both. I could put up with your dream side though
  3. Well our top No.1 which couldn't of been cheap, has only averaged 7.64 at home this season. Thats only 0.13 more than Kvech at home, and 0.15 more than Harris . Nowhere near good enough, we must win all the home meetings at a minimum if we are to get in the play offs.
  4. To be honest, i dont think you can have Coops, Jody and Jordan all in your team. We couldn't make it work this season with a genuine number 1 in the team. But Kvech, Bomber and Cook need to go, and there will be a few teams after Max now his average has dropped. Who know what next season will bring.
  5. Well thats 3 points on the board from the first 3 races
  6. Lions by around 10 points. Hope I'm wrong though.
  7. There a many variables that can contribute imho. I would go against any of the above. Spinning up on a slick track ( blue groove) certainly dont help. I'd add riding styles to a lesser extent, and bike set up to that as well. Having said that, riders shouldn't have to worry about trying to make their tyre last a meeting on any track. 2 tyres per rider instead of 1 would help in the short term imho.
  8. I know he was talking about the tyres, and not the track, and I said there was no mention of any particular track. But looking at the pic of your track last night, I did wonder.
  9. From Batch's FB, taken 2 hours ago. There is no mention if this was from last nights meeting though. Troy Batchelor 1͏h͏ · This is what we’re racing on now days … The second photo is with a nearly new tyre for comparison. I just think to myself maybe a competitors tyre would/could/has been better ? We’re putting our lives on the line every time we go racing. The priority should be giving riders the safest and best-performing tyre possible whatever that may be. Maybe we should be given the choice to use the tyre we feel is best for us. Maybe Sweden has got it right with their tyre rules ? I know my opinion. Ultimately I want what’s best for the sport. If speedway wins we all win. Some people think this is moaning when in reality it’s just facts and if no-one is willing to say anything, nothing will ever change.
  10. Finished last season on 10.49 with bonus points, 9.83 without. Very experienced is Richard
  11. Interesting that Lawson has probably dropped the most points off his average than any other Poole rider this season. Thinking about it most if not all of the others have upped theirs. He started on 9.58, and has so far averaged just 8.10 so far this season. Could be he is around 40 now though, and on the slide.
  12. When we won there 44-46, RR for Jack Holder only returned 7 points. Tonight they have Doyle. I can't see a win for the Stars tonight, the Tigers will be smarting from our last visit. We really need the win, but realistically i think we have a chance of getting the aggregate point. 41 points needed.
  13. Agree. This is a huge chance. Get a pop up stand with a bike and vids of speedway playing etc, up the town centre, and get rid of plenty of tickets, and fill the place. Look at the bigger picture.
  14. As a Lynn fan. That would be great, but none of them have been great this season. We can always hope though. 54-36 ish for me.
  15. Never liked the bloke since he let Lynn down along with Holder. Buster had the last laugh with them pair.
  16. Got the Lions by around 6 points. Can't see Leicester taking risks if they are enough up in the later stages.
  17. I agree. 6-7 pointers will have good and bad meetings, but i feel Kvech and Cook are better than that. Bomber is also up and down, but gives it his all. Add 3 youngsters in the team who are naturally still learning their trade. Nothing seems to work, however we build our teams.
  18. Was that 10 from 7 rides at reserve🙂
  19. I'm not sure a lot of Prem clubs could afford it tbh. There would need to be some kind of contract between club and riders, and that might come down to who can pay the most to get "their" men on standby. I doubt riders would do it unless the money was good to cover bikes over here as well, as you say.
  20. 5.04 average for the Stars from his 6 meetings. Hope he bangs in a good score tonight.
  21. Another potential loss. Ben Cook please step up, if you can be arsed.
