  1. Agree. Bad news for Poole if he jacks it in. He has done his best for himself and the club. But I don't think he will imho. The threat of quitting might help some things go his way in the next AGM. Add to that, what is the club worth? What will actually be for sale ?. And how does he value it?, wrong time to try and sell a good club, but with a rented venue. What ever happens the main thing for UK speedway is that Poole lines up in 2019 and i'm confident they will. The mind boggles.
  2. They are Baggy. The Stars will need Lambo/ NKI to be on it, with heats 13 and 15 very important, as is MPT's score from reserve. I would hope something like.. NKI/Lambo... 20 Engine room of Riss, TJ and Ty (if fit)…. 20 MPT 9 from 5 S. Lambert 3 If Its RR then of course some riders points will go up a bit. Keeping positive, but anything can happen on the night
  3. Not sure if Ty will be back in time for this one, but i'm thinking a Lynn win by 12-14 on the night. The last time the Robins were in town it finished 49-41. Since then the Stars have Riss in place of Garrity, and MPT riding at reserve, with Riss taking up the number 2 spot. Thoughts......
  4. Not Simon, but not putting MPT in who had already 3 heat wins to his name was a big mistake. Bigger than HT14. I'll be honest I missed that one FB. 2 mistakes in the same meeting. We need Dale "on it". Can't afford these mistakes.
  5. Having speedway next season is great for Swindon and the UK Ray. But the chance to create a great track is one that don't come around to often, and should be made the most of. So at around 300m it's going to be about 15% smaller than the NNS track.. So something along the same lines as the NSS should be good. You have to remember the track will be smaller, but the bikes are still the same. I'm not a fan of tight turns, so I would look at the NSS track dimensions as a starting point and maybe take the 15% from the straights and keeping the bends the same. Should give plenty of room and different lines, and hopefully great racing. If it will fit.. But what do I know
  6. I think howler might make it seem worse than it was... Simon had to ride as it was his 3rd ride. Dale could of put MPT in for TJ. In TJ's ride before, he scored came 2nd, with MPT 3rd. I know they are team mates and MPT might well of been able to pass him. I've seen worse, but it was a mistake that probably cost Lynn points
  7. If he is properly fit, he should, your right. Although Lynn gained tonight using RR.. SS had his Poole head on with his comment, hinting of leaving Ty out for gain
  8. Lambo had a mare, going by updates. TJ and Riss not scoring as expected either. Well done NKI and MPT, they kept Lynn in it. I would of expected Ty to score around 7 Steve. I think if Proctor is fit enough to ride, he will do.He's battled all season, and for Lynn to leave him out for gain if he can ride, isn't the thing to do in my book.
  9. I do. Was just asking if Lambo was trapping, being as Zagar Racing is there , I thought he could give a bit of info
  10. I don't know. Lambo don't seem to be going to well looking at the updates. Is he making starts?
  11. I think he will be fired up. He is one of my bets tonight, to score over 7.
  12. Iv'e got the Robins by 4 to 8 points tonight. They will be going for it.
  13. Last time the Stars were in town we had RR for Ty and 2 guests.. We had for Ty's rides.... Ben Morley 0, Kev Doolan 2 from 2 and Lambo TS scored 2. Kings Lynn Stars = 38 1. Niels Kristian Iversen - 3, 2, 2, R, 1 = 82. Lewis Kerr - R, R, R, 0 = 03. R/R for Ty Proctor - (BM - R, RL - 2, KD - 0, KD - 2 = 5+1)4. Thomas Jorgensen - 1, 3, 1, 3 = 85. Robert Lambert - 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 3 = 146. Ben Morley (G) - 2, R, M/(KD - 0), 0, 1' = 3+17. Kevin Doolan (G) - 0, 1', 0, 1, 0, 2, 1 = 5+1Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/17946/kings-lynn-premiership-21-2018#ixzz5QhJeGl4I Tonight we have NKI, TJ, Erik, MPT taking Ty's rides. Much stronger and should cover ok. Lynn look stronger this time around. A win will be most welcome, but keeping it within 6-8 would probably be realistic. Main thing, stay safe.
  14. Well I was watching my Grandsons under 11 footy match today. And 3 of the peeps there( footy fans) have seen the play offs mentioned on BT sports and want to watch them.Never been before. Only 3 but I said i'll pick them up. They usually go to Lynn footy but they are crap at the mo. Hope they get converted.
  15. Neils seems to have his better rides in 13 and 15. Backing up Lambo. I think at Lynn you have to prepare it for most of the team. If Neils is the only one who likes it slick why not make it grippy and later on Neils will come into it in 13 and 15 when is slicks off..Of course I don't know who can ride Lynn deep, but it seems more can than not.
  16. It's a shame you can't see the whole crowd in the TV meetings. Many clubs are like this. Hope all the play off meeting are well supported and we will see a few more on the box.
  17. Woffy was the the furthest back, but at least 2 more riders were not up to tapes, Theres no the furthest back rule...…...don't think the were other 2 looking either. All 3 or none.
  18. There not that daft Just seen a still shot at 00 on the clock. Exclude 3 or none.. What a crock of poo.
  19. Woofy, something like "it is was it is, hope karma gets him" Morris " i'm just relaying what the ref said.Woofy wasn't ready when the clock run to 00."
  20. Your right, 70 mph is about right for a fast track.. Batch has a video on his website of him hitting 68 mph at Lynn when he was practicing. And the track wasn't as grippy as it would be in a meeting I guess.
  21. Puddles forming on the track, from someone who was there !! No jet ski's in the pits. Can't ride.
  22. I was out and only caught the last 7 races, but what a race track.
  23. I'd go with that Daniel. It might be different if we had won it loads of times like Poole. But after 50 ish years i think?. We need to do anything legal that can help us to our 1st big title in the clubs history. Talk the the riders, give then the track they want, get them in for plenty practice sessions on the track prepared as they want on race day. The last one as near to the meeting as you can get. They need to be sharp .
