  1. Release Mitchell Davey and Jack Smith you say....Same 2 that RR kept banging on about Give us some credit RR
  2. From that clip, looked ok. But angles do give a different take on it.
  3. I know that's the idea Starry.. Every little helps. I do think that the team that finishes top should have more of an advantage than picking the team of their choice. Maybe the winner goes into the final, the next 2 fight it off over 2 legs with the team who finished 2nd gets pick of home or away first. Top 4 out of a tiny league is maybe a bit much. One league next season anyway I guess.
  4. Not sure there Ray... Klindt is in fine form and will get around 8 from 4 if it's slick or not. Woryna must be good for 8 from 4, or 9-10 from 5 (might replace the other reserve in one) Brady 10 from 5 . That's a good start...Josh is going well, 7 from 4 .. It will be close. If Worrall can chip in 6-7 Poole will be ok. But it's speedway, who knows
  5. I've ridden big road bikes for many years and still do. I had a go on a friends speedway bike on a big field ...Bloody hell . About a 3rd of the power, but no brakes or suspension, as you know. The arse breaks away and I shut off and got a speed wobble and no fences or riders to hit either... Arse nipped up...And to think I wanted to be a speedway rider when I first went aged 8 lol. All i'm saying is give the guys a bit of respect. Not a push bike will score more comment
  6. Track looked slick, but agree Steve, the crowd looked pretty big there. 2k + ?.. Good to see at any club these days. Hope with the tight league all the clubs get a few more on the gate in the run in.
  7. Do you know off hand who from both teams the delays from Poland could affect ? If both are at full strength if should be a cracker.. Biggest crowd of the season maybe? What would you guessimate the crowd was V Swindon yesterday. I think SS said it was big. Just wondered because the last TV meeting at your gaff looked like a big crowd to me but was reported as not so. Nice to see a packed grandstand on TV.
  8. Nice comment from someone who has probably never sat on a bike...Even worse if you have actually ridden one
  9. Short pre arranged break How many meetings do you think he has ridden in since in a short space of time? What I was getting at is 12 rides in one night is a lot for anyone, and his scores suggest he was up for it and didn't go down hill. At this stage of the season, with it all to race for, the adrenaline should be enough to make sure the riders are fired up for the meeting
  10. Sounds like another one of them pre meeting excuse, just in case. Your mate Lambo is a very busy rider. He rode in 12 races last night, including 2 HT 15's when both meetings were well won. His scores of 3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,2,3,3,2' show he didn't tail off. I'm sure he was well tired though. I guessed Poole last night by 20, almost right. For this one i'm going 42-48 if both have full teams
  11. Tough on the Robins.. Hope it's not to serious. According to Updates, the track is slick, dusty with no dirt to work with on the outside... I'm not there, but it sounds worse than Somersets "doctored track " the other night.
  12. Before last nights TV meeting Poole were joint favourites to win the league …………..With Lynn. The Rebels were next. Bet 365 have took them down now. I expect new odds will appear after tomorrow's DH. My money would still be on Poole, but it's pretty tight this year.
  13. Don't think you can moan to much tbh . I had got over "oil gate", but you moaning reminded me.. We could see at home where you needed to ride the track, so I thought the Poole lads would of sussed it out after a 3 or 4 races. A few weeks ago when Poole had oil tipped over a certain part of the track, you said that if you saw the same being done when you visited an away track, you wouldn't bat an eye lid ! You also said to some Poole fans who confirmed it was tipped on purpose " should of kept their mouths shut" I find the first bit very hard to believe if i'm honest.. I know you have gone down the fans route, but I suspect your more peeved that you lost, if your honest. The oil was put down for a reason .Maybe your team would have told the next visiting team whereabouts on the track they poured the oil, just to keep it fair as you do.. What the Rebels did was perfectly legal. May was honest, maybe he should of kept his mouth shut?, i'm sure there not the only ones that have done it before and will do again.. Would you agree ?
  14. Behave SS..A 20 point win for you lot would be my guess...
  15. May said in an interview last night that the track was set up different to stop the Pirates.. I don't know if it was tongue in cheek or he was serious.
  16. Really? I think Swindon might nick a point at best. Last home meeting for Wolves... Thorssell 3, 3, 3, 3 Masters 3, 3,2', 3
  17. Very sad news. Thinking of them all at this awful time for them. God Bless little one.
  18. I see Rory picked up a knee or foot injury last night. I don't know how bad it is, or if he is riding tomorrow ?
  19. How much did you loose due to Buster. Not yourself deciding not to go
