  1. I've always liked the thought of Howarth in our team, don't really like them 7 though Good idea, but too weak imo
  2. How old is Dan Bewley? Just out of curiosity
  3. I did not realize that Ludvig was possibly using them engines on Sunday I hope the new faces in the crowd this year stay next year, the only way to do that is to make another strongand exciting team
  4. Will there be new averages at the end of this month? Or are the ones on the Speedway GB website the final averages? Be interesting to see if anyone drops or goes up Do you think Freddie might let Ludvig have one of them new fancy engines next year? ^_^ Maybe that might make Ludvig more than a 7.65 rider
  5. No no no, I'm not comparing the two from an ability point of view necessarily, Lambert is by far a better rider and prospect compared to Kyle, but point scoring wise AND reliability wise (Meaning that he won't miss as many meetings due to EL commitments) And also the fact that his average is 2.5 points lower than Robert I think that Kyle is not far away from as good as an OPTION for the team as Lambert, I dunno if that makes sense? I do agree with you both when you say that Lambert is a superior rider, ability wise and I'm sorry if I made it sound any different Edit: The only reason I compared the two in the first place is that Kyle would be kinda the replacement for Robert in that team I just threw out there The same goes for Kerr and Kus comparison, I think that Kus is a better rider, but all of the above applies, apart from the EL commitment part
  6. Final 'attempt' before the final averages 1. Steve Worrall 8.51 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Lewis Kerr 6.16 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.65 5. Kyle Newman 6.31 6. Ashley Morris 4.83 7. Connor Mountain 3.00 Just as strong as this year's team I think, where we miss out on Lambert here, we make up with a decent number 7, plus I don't think Kyle Newman is a million miles away from Lambert anyway, same goes for Kerr with Kus (On a side note, does anyone have an update of Kus after his fall last night? I hope he's ok) Also last night just makes me want to see Rene in the team even more, not only was he fun to watch, did anyone notice how he was the first one out helping Glasgow AND Newcastle riders after their falls, top man Rene Great person, great rider
  7. In Newton Aycliffe, it's been pissing it down on and off all morning but seems to have brightened up a little recently, but I'm not exactly close to the track either
  8. I know, and that applies to the last part of my comment "or if you don't feel right in the situation you're in, you SHOULD quit" I have no problem with any riders quitting at anytime tbh, it's their life on the line at the end of the day, literally And whether that's because they feel unsafe, or they're not getting the money, it's the same thing, we all need to make a living somehow How true is this comment? I never knew Rye House were going to be backed, them people should take over the league and look after all the teams Bring back Plymouth and other teams that have gone bust throughout the years, we need big people to take an interest in out unique sport
  9. Well getting dropped isn't necessarily his fault, I'm sure he doesn't WANT to be injured, and lets just hope no riders get injured, and speedway's a sport that if you don't feel right doing, or if you don't feel right in the situation you're in, you SHOULD quit
  10. Nahhh Rather watch him for somebody else, as much as I like him
  11. 1. Edward Kennett 9.27 2. Rob Branford 4.60 3. Charlie Gjedde 9.22 4. Kasper Lykke Nielsen 5.16 or Cameron Heeps 5.07 5. Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen 6.98 6. Ben Morley 3.85 7. 3.00 lol, this is an awful team but I just want to see Gjedde back in the uk
  12. That's a big risk, only taken just before a very successful spell or a spell that's going to end that club's life, one or the two
  13. Kyle should be on whatever average he got from this year, and Woffinden should be on whatever average he got this year, why do they need changing by anyone? An average is an average, and that's the points they scored, regardless of if they're world champion or not, statistics and numbers don't lie
  14. Yes, Poole have done it, and so have other teams, I dont understand what the problem is, Peterborough did it in the PL too
  15. Well hopefully none of them because hopefully they all stay fit and healthy I don't understand the problem, the management saw an opportunity to improve the team, and they did? The main goal of every sports team in the world is to be successful, is it not? Woffinden didn't come in on an assessed 7 or anything, he came in on his old average, I mean I don't particularly like Woffinden, but I'm just saying O.o
  16. Just a thought lol, a fantasy more like, if British speedway was healthy, it'd be realistic, but it's been run dry How about swapping Woffinden for Howarth and Morris for Ludvig then? Leaving... 1. Fredrik Lindgren 7.21 2. Ludvig Lindgren 4.34 (Or Musielak? 4.53 Skornicki 6.66?) 3. Chris Harris 6.58 4. Jacob Thorsell 7.06 5. Sam Masters 7.18 6. Kyle Howarth 4.00 (Whatever the averages end up being) 7. Max Clegg 3.00 (Whatever the averages end up being) A LOT cheaper I'd think and strong enough to repeat 2016's success in my opinion
  17. Was Clegg not riding for his national league team that night? Or was it Edinburgh? O.o I can't remember
  18. I know, I feel so bad for him But he is pretty inspiring the way he keeps picking himself back up after all of his previous injuries and keeps going He'd be nice on a 3 point average Me too, but only Ludvig?
  19. We don't know what the FINAL averages of the season are, because the SGB website hasn't been updated yet, but something like this would be nice 1. Steve Worrall 8.51 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Kyle Newman 6.31 4. Lewis Kerr 6.16/Victor Palovaara 5.80 5. Ludvig Lindgren 7.65 6. Ashley Morris 4.83 7. Connor Mountain 3.00 Total 42.32/41.96 OR 1. Steve Worrall 8.51 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Matej Kus 7.55 4. Lewis Kerr 6.16/Victor Palovaara 5.80 5. Kyle Newman 6.31 6. Ashley Morris 4.83 7. Connor Mountain 3.00/Danny Ayres 3.56 Wouldn't go that far like
  20. I hope Lindgren will be back, no offence to Matej, but Ludvig is the captain and I prefer to watch him Don't like the idea of Roynon being in the team
  21. Instead of Lunna, Garcia and Ayres? Must be nice when you can bring in track specialists when you need Must be the tiger way
  22. I agree with both of them things, but Redcar need a number 1, also I've always thought Branford would stick with Rye House but he seems popular at Redcar
  23. 1. Simon Stead 8.39 2. Tobias Busch 5.00 3. Hugh Skidmore 6.84 4. Jonas B Andersen 6.32 5. David Bellego 7.63 6. Rob Branford 4.60 7. 3.00??? Lee Payne again? (Or Richard Hall 3.53) If the 3.00 reserve gets dropped OR 1. Simon Stead 8.39 2. Tobias Busch 5.00 3. Jonas B Andersen 6.32 4. Ulrich Ostergaard 7.23 5. David Bellego 7.63 6. Rob Branford 4.60 7. Lee Payne 3.00 (Maybe give Basford a shot at the beginning of the season and if he doesn't work out bring in another?) He seems to have done ok in the NL, and he's local to Redcar
