Havelock has annouced he is stepping down as promoter so it may not be that hard to get Jonas, he likes the Peterborough track too
-
Exactly 👍🏼👍🏼
-
Exactly, fewer meetings and less travel, means less time off work, some riders have like 4 meetings a week plus travel and bike prep in between each meeting
-
They need to make a living from it because during the season it's hard to find time to hold down a full time job while taking time off to travel to meetings, do the meetings and then there is the bike washes/bike prep after, some national league riders have jobs and then have to miss meetings due to work commitments then they get guests in for them, but then you get fans complaining about teams using guests, you can't please everybody, people don't realise how busy it is for riders/mechanics during the season, it's not like a spectator where they just turn up at home meetings every week or the odd away meeting now and then. Riders work during the winter to set up for the next season then when the season starts, most riders quit the job and rely on speedway to make it through the speedway season
-
Yeah but not enough money compared to their expenditure, they have bills to pay, mechanics to pay, they have to pay insurance per heat, vans to pay for, tyres every meeting which is like £35 a meeting, bikes to pay for, replace parts which are not cheap trust me, if they didn't get the money they did they wouldn't be in the sport at all and then what will happen to speedway?
-
How is it too much? For the job they do it's not enough, that's why riders double up and ride abroad, just to make a living, if they got 'too much' they'd just stick to the one league, it's not football money.I know what certain riders are on from being in the pits and riders talking about it but I'm not gonna put it on here, it's between the rider and the club, not for every fan to know, would you tell random strangers how much you earn?

Pre-AGM is today, AGM is the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of November

There has been some decent, close meetings at Redcar this season, andasfor Workington away last week, out of the 4 riders that qualified for ht15 2 blew an engine and 1 pulled out with a shoulder injury, if we were allowed to pick any of our 1-7 we'd of been able to field 2 riders, I agree that the Redcar team was poor this season, but it didn't help when lasse was intentionally trying to drop his average coz he didn't want to be there, but we made it through the season, and made money at the end of it, so hopefully we use that money to invest next season and start to field a competitive team
-
I think they were paying out too much money to the riders, they were struggling to pay the riders last season, owed them a lot of money and think the same happened again this year, think they were expecting more money from the gate and when they didn't get anymore fans they were struggling with wages, hopefully the place doesnt close, and next season you dont go over budget and just offer what you can afford, I don't like Brian havelock but as a Redcar supporter, he has done right by the club, he has never overpaid a rider that could potentially ruin the club, I know we have finished bottom of the league multiple times but atleast we have speedway to watch, there has been some amazing meetings at home this season, we just very poor away from home, hopefully the comets gets sorted for 2017

Rumour has it points limit is getting reduced to 40.00 so that will only leave 11.96 for your final 3
-
Berge will not be at Glasgow, they kicked him out on the streets before he signed for Redcar, Sheffield could sign Bellego and Jonas B Andersen and start with that 3
-
rumours are points limit getting dropped to 40.00 2 possible teams 1 Bellego 7.63 2 Tobias 5.00 3 Hansen 6.25 4 JBA 6.32 5 Berge 6.91 6 Branford 4.60 7 ??? 3.00 39.71 1 Bellego 7.63 2 Tobias 5.00 3 JBA 6.32 4 Sarjeant 5.80 5 Jørgensen 7.45 6 Branford 4.60 7 ??? 3.00 39.80
-
Rule out JBA
-
No proof of a profit, just what he is saying, if we have made a profit why couldnt he honour certain stipulations in his riders contracts?
-
I doubt it would be Jonas, he doesn't like the track, says it everytime we go, his scores have improved since the first time he went when he got 4 0's, but that's because the rest of the team were poor so he was beating his own man, Lasse is nailed on at Peterborough next season

Like I said bikes were getting stripped and put away his 2nd bike was there but hadn't been used all night so engine was cold, had no time to warm engine up and get it all setup ready, if he'd of rode that bike he'd of ended up with 2 blown engines that night, who's gonna pay for that, doesn't come cheap, Jonas would of done it if he could as would Jørgensen if he was fit enough to do it -

The reason Redcar only had 1 rider is because Jonas had blown an engine after heat 14 and Jørgensen had injured his shoulder, everybody else's bikes were took apart and put away because they weren't eligible for heat 15 so Jonas couldnt even use someone else's bike, that's where the whole top 3 averages or top 3 scorers on the night is a bad rule, you should be able to choose from any of the 7 riders in the team and it will stop things like this happening -
What about Jonas B Andersen?, he loves the track and always seems to go well round there
-
A few times he has had to be dragged away from roynon and that's probably the closest thing to team bonding he done all season
-
I'm Redcar fan and me along with many other Redcar fans want rid of him, he didn't want to ride last season for us and it showed at the start of the season, he was dropping his average hoping to go back to Berwick but when they announced they may not ride in 2016, kus started scoring, not saying that's what happened but it's funny how he changed mid season, he was always fighting and arguing with team mates and was not a team man at all, never got involved and just kept himself to himself, he is a great rider on his day but clearly doesn't want to be at Redcar so havvy should just let him go
-
The reason havvy won't let him be loaned out is because kus wants a transfer away not a loan move, as far as the figure goes, havvy can be stubborn but it's his right to ask for what ever he wants, since he owns the contract, he ain't gonna let him go cheap and lose money, and it's up to the 2 clubs to haggle a deal

Tyson Nelson has already qualified for his visa -
Rumours are, Joshy G, Tungate, Wright are nailed on, Jake Allen and BWD are high targets so no room for starkey as im aware Allen will be a 7 since he is an Aussie, that's why Berwick dropped him this season
