Goldvod.tv - All polish channels in HD.
stewmac replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in International World of Speedway
I can confirm like Steve says, the eBay link works fine and the quality is definitely HD with absolutely no issues viewing. I only used it for two weeks and was delighted with it but had already committed myself to buying an NC+ digibox which is now up and running. Goldvod certainly beats any stream I ever watched from soccer live or any other website such as cricfree. -
Yesterday afternoon I also watched Rybnik's practice session with Leszno, primarily to see how Craig Cook got on. This was transmitted live by unialeszno.tv and the return today in Leszno will also be live on that website. Was interesting to see that Luke Becker was given a run out by Leszno yesterday.

I watched this live on TVP Sport on my TV and it was not a bad match. Looking at the TVP Sport scheduled for the next 14 days reveals no further speedway. Of course, I know the Extraliga is on nSport and that Polsat sport has 1st division stuff and am aware of various other stuff across Eleven's channels. However, I just wanted to ask: Does TVP Sport show matches regularly or is today's just a one off? Cheers

Goldvod.tv - All polish channels in HD.

It's not there until AFTER you sign up and pay. Then it (along with all the other sport channels) appears magically. -
Hahaha, you probably know yourself that rainfall statistics for Glasgow are at the higher end for any place in the UK where speedway takes place. So, with that in mind, is Chris going to cancel his journey every time he checks the met office forecast and sees rain on the horizon? Let's hope not, or you guys ain't gonna see much of him. I'll repeat. Plonker. Utter plonker. He's contracted to attend meetings and race. Not whine like a baby on Twitter.

It does seem rather excessive. Obviously someone has to be the most expensive track in Britain to watch speedway, but given the fact that we are in the 2nd tier, and that we have neither a world champion to pay, nor exactly what you'd call a luxurious stadium to spectate at, it's quite hard to accept the price as it stands. Not everyone wants to sign up for the Blue or Gold cards for whatever reason and it certainly will not encourage anyone new at these prices.

UK speedway's loss may well prove to be Poland's gain with Luke Becker.

I bought a 14 day subscription to Goldvod via the eBay route. It was simple. Entered my debit card details, got a code, and 5 mins later was connected. Worked perfectly well. That's now expired though as you'll see above that I went down the route of buying a decoder from a Polish shop and now I've got genuinely HD viewing set up for the season.

Thanks Losthammer. I have the feeling that I will end up getting Eleven too.
-
Ok thanks racers and royals, I'll hold off for now then!

So, extremely delighted to have my new Polski tv system up and running. Its an NC+ recordable decoder box with 500GB hard drive with 12 month subscription which includes nSport+, TVP sport and Polsat sport all in HD along with more than 50 other HD channels and in excess of 400 channels in total, including more than 20 Russian channels for my wife to watch. Total price £149. Bring on the zuzel season! And I might just add the Eleven channels too for another £29 next month, in time for the Swedish season. If anyone else is interested in going this route, see www.tehwiz.co.uk

So I've decided, perhaps through the fact that Losthammer made me feel a little guilty, to go the full hog and order a recordable digibox and subscription from tehwiz.co.uk in order to follow the legal way of viewing HD Extraliga speedway this season from Polska. The bonus for me is that around 10 Russian channels are available too, that will keep my wife happy as well. Very helpful shop, they pointed me in the right direction with advice and so in a few days, I'll be wired up and ready to go. Looking forward to it immensely. Thanks for all the advice, views and help from various folk in this discussion.

Poland International Test Matches 2018
stewmac replied to Bavarian's topic in International World of Speedway
Any idea which TV channel(s) are broadcasting these matches? -
Yeah, I'm still not fully decided on the direction I will go. An earlier post from PTH mentioned going the whole way and getting a dish/full system installed. In fact I did a bit of looking on the net and wrote to a shop selling the system asking their advice but they didn't even reply! As I already have a dish pointing to the Hotbird satellite (my Russian wife watches free to air channels on a 15 year old box) I may still go this way and replace the ageing Pace digibox with a more up to date box and viewing card for the relevant channels. Can you advise me on the possible total cost of that Losthammer? (Viewing box, 1 year subscription) And presumably a newer box will still pick up the free Russian channels I suppose?

Thanks again, you've been a great help! A friend says he will give me his Android box to test things out and no doubt after that I will buy one and ensure I'm set up in plenty of time for the Easter matches.

Thanks again for all your information and advice. Having got goldvod working great now on my iMac, I'm a newby to using Kodi and have zero experience of it, but you've now got me wanting to see if I can use it on my Panasonic smart TV in the living room which would be much better than on my computer in the bedroom! Looked on Amazon- what do I need to buy exactly? An android box, or a firestick, or both? How do I get started using it once I buy what I need? Sorry for all the questions! But having watched all year last year on wizja.tv in the bedroom, I feel 2018 should be more relaxed in the living room!! Thanks in advance!

There are many different payment options, some of which include Google wallet, Bitcoin and eBay vouchers. I used eBay, and bought the shortest voucher available, which was £2.49 for 4 days, just to satisfy myself that everything works as it should. As soon as you pay, you get an email with a code, and that instantly activates the system, along with lots of channels that don't appear on the list before you actually subscribe. For example, nSport and other sports channels weren't listed until after I input the activation code. The most expensive voucher is £35, which gives you 6 months. That's the one I will buy once we get to the first week of the speedway season. It's a stream, which I am using on my laptop yes and the quality of all the channels is fantastic. It says on the homepage that they have reverted to a previous version of the site, to allow it to stream on Smart TVs, but I haven't actually tried it on my TV just yet, as I think my wife might go ballistic if I take over the living room each weekend to watch all the matches that are going to be available this season! I'm happy to watch on my iMac, which has a big screen anyway!
