  1. Thought the same as you REF. get out of jail card but you shouldn't feel disappointed about scraping home by a couple of points , I would have expected Witches to have romped home but at the end of the day a win is a win.
  2. Cheers. Rasmus Jensen looked useful last season but not sure he's available also maybe available Stormy Wethers.
  3. Fair result under the circumstances , I didn't rate Panthers chances even with Ben Barker but if he had rode maybe we might have nicked a point. It's always hard going away using R/R as it means there is no room for slackness from the other 4 of the top 5 especially as they are replacing the NO1. Now onto Friday and Sheffield who got lucky at Workington without Craig Cook , that's 2 fortunate away wins the have had now and BWD will be missing riding for Swindon at Belle Vue.It will be interesting to see who we get as a guest.
  4. Lets hope things pick up for you , like you say facilities are self owned which must go a long way and would be the desire of most other clubs , but you would have to question are attendances of around 300ish going to be enough bearing in mind you will still have to put out a competitive team to perform at this level but I wish your management all the best and I hope Scorpions will be at the tapes in the championship for 2018.
  5. I can see them going down into the National league as there is no way they can survive on that sort of attendance , shame as it's a good racing circuit and they are at a position where they most likely can't cut costs down anymore than what they already have done.
  6. Scorpions made your Diamonds look Ruff tonight. You had 2 fine guests but the rest of them the least said the better.
  7. My thoughts exactly unpredictable weather put me off as well or I would have been there also.
  8. A point from Glasgow would be good anything more would be a bonus but I expect Glasgow will be well up for this after the drubbing they got at the showground and expect they will want to return the favour. An excellent result from Redcar tonight even if Bears were a little unfortunate injury wise .
  9. Do you actually think Vatcher would make the same judgement again . I really wouldn't wish to claim 4 points in those circumstances.
  10. Because it takes the pressure off Jenga maybe
  11. It's swings and roundabouts look what happened Redcar v Glasgow a couple of weeks ago, and now unfortunately for Scorpions it appears it's your turn . Looks like it's going to be a dog fight between yourselves and Berwick for the wooden spoon. Time to start planning ahead for next season.
  12. You really should try getting out more , it might be good for you .
  13. Have you forgotten Redcar have lost 2 home matches and maybe 3 after Thursday night.
  14. I didn't think there was any difference between where Heeps and Ostergaard started from 15 metres handicap, but i didn't take my tape measure with me so I couldn't be absolutely certain. Isn't there a guide marker there somewhere to indicate the actual 15 metres, if not perhaps it would be a good idea and put this nonsense totally to bed by having a line painted on the fence and maybe a white spot painted on the grass as a guide line.
  15. Is that the best you can do , , How is it some (not all)of witches supporters cannot accept defeat gracefully and were beaten by the better team on the day ,your team manager accepts it,and is not complaining , Holder dangerous ? well sorry but this is a dangerous sport he rides like this all the time that's why his CMA is going up rapidly .Perhaps you should take up supporting tiddlywinks where dangerous is only breaking a nail. Ref had an excellent meeting IMO, Dust was very minimal for an afternoon with sun shining. Instead of finding excuses for your team you should be praising them for putting in a good performance in a closely fought meeting in which you were narrowly beaten .
  16. I hope Paddington Bear doesn't get wind about your sheep, or your sheep will be getting the wind up.
