  1. Don’t agree at all. The first lineup is more than capable of top 4, and from there it’s anyone’s game...
  2. Gutted about Craig, and pretty disappointed with how the club seem to have handled it. I wonder if something like the above is more likely now? Or perhaps if Worrall is back then just 1 of Bjerre or Holder along with a higher avg 2nd string than J. Allen. Or maybe something no one is expecting? Chris Holder? Zagar? I just hope this decision has been made because ML is building a title winning team and he’s wiping the slate clean, instead of a cost cutting measure.
  3. Can’t see Cook anywhere but Belle Vue. IF it happened though, how about: Fricke Bjerre Bewley Allen J. Holder Berge Lidsey
  4. I think we all would. Only issue is that a few of them (Bjerre etc.) seem nailed on elsewhere. Perhaps a tad more realistic: Fricke Worrall Bewley Allen Cook Etheridge/Berge Lidsey
  5. Fricke 8.20 Bjerre 7.02 Bewley 7.31 Allen 4.56 Cook 7.73 Berge 4.00 Nielsen 3.67 = 42.49
  6. On that subject - I think BV’s social media presence generally is extremely poor. In 2018 it’s got to be a priority to get the basics of that stuff running regularly and smoothly. It really doesn’t take much to have a designated role for someone to look after it both more frequently and to a higher standard. Some other clubs have really upped their game in this regard. I’m not hating though, as I’m sure they’re well aware of this and probably have plans in place.
  7. Happy with that on the basis of Tungate being more than good enough to step up to heat leader, especially in this league and with the form he’s in. I too would have preferred Jacobs, but I was happy for Jack to come back so can’t really complain about Etheridge.
  8. Cook Worrall Tungate Drozdz Fricke Bewley Jacobs Perhaps?
  9. I would take KK for sure. Still a quality rider, on an average he can definitely improve on. He's done well around the NSS before too. I still say this team is good... Cook King Kasprzak Tungate Fricke Bewley Smith King flies around our track too. Cook, Fricke, Tungate and Bewley are no brainers. Or perhaps... Cook Kasprzak Przedpelski Palm Toft Fricke Bewley Smith Getting two Poles in, plus MPT is fairly popular around BV after a good season with us a few years back, and has been pretty great a few times when he's visited the new place too. I still find it hard to imagine them letting Tungate go though, given how good his home form was this year.
  10. I actually like that team. Allows them to stick with all but one from last year, including Worrall who could be sacrificed in other potential lineups. It would also be good to see a young Polish rider on our track every week.
  11. Just throwing ideas at the wall now... Cook King Fricke Tungate Kasprzak Bewley Smith I recognise that KK is a risk, but has been great at the NSS in the past and is WC on his day. Kings affinity for the track is well known, and the others pick themselves. The option of Batchelor is a good one, but as others have said he will most likely end up elsewhere.
  12. Zagar, Hougaard/Bjerre, Fricke, Tungate, Cook, Bewley and Smith looks a very strong team to me. Three strong heat leaders who all know the BV track better than most, two of which will be regular GP stars next year. Two solid second string riders, with one of them being consistently brilliant around the NSS. One very exciting reserve who is getting better and better. The only real uncertainty I guess is around Jack, and even he improved a lot towards the back end of last season. I think Zagar, Fricke, Tungate and even Bewley are all steals on their averages.
  13. Only if Max doesn't come back, which I hope he does. But in the event that he doesn't, that'd be a v. good signing all things considered.
  14. Kasprzak Fricke Nicholls R. Worrall Cook S. Worrall Roynon/Wilkinson I hope the team is something like that, as apposed to putting Craig at no.1 and bringing someone else in. I'm a massive fan of Cookie but wouldn't have him spearheading the team (yet).
  15. KK let BV down? I'm pretty sure he was voted rider of the season by fans that year. Fair enough we finished bottom so it was a poor season for the club overall, but KK absolutely did not let us down.
  16. Kasprzak Fricke Nicholls R. Worrall Cook S. Worrall Boxall The only really uncertain ones are 1 and 7, though I can definitely see the other reserve being Boxall. KK is worth the risk at 1 if we can get him.
