  1. It’s also a sport someone comes first and someone comes last. And on paper that’s what I think of the 10 teams who have named a 1-7.
  2. I didn’t. I gave my fair reflection on the teams. I didn’t say anything about poole or Newcastle and judged what is in front of me. Not sure what I’ve done wrong.
  3. It’s an opinion. It’s a forum. That’s what it’s for. Also what else is going on in speedway? NL agm and some prem team building. That’s it.
  4. Gives something to talk about. You don’t have to read it.
  5. hard to say until teams are complete. But how i see the current 10 teams complete. Berwick= Solid at home, will struggle away. Solid 3 heat leaders nothing special but solid. 2nd strings are weak and reserves have potential. Birmingham= Racers team for sure. Has potential just needs riders to stay fit and not a team of gaters at all. If they come up against anyone who can gate will struggle. Eastbourne= similar team to last year. Great signing in Kemp, Odd signing in Brennan. Very similar to berwick solid at home will struggle away. Edinburgh= At home they could get 30 points from worrall and masters alone. will be great at home. A lot of pressure on the 2 new boys to start as they will be at 2/4. Glasgow= Best rider in the league. Lot of potential in the team but needs riders to get back to the old ways in Wells, Sedge, Ulrich. Will be near the top im sure. Kent= Good little team they have put together. Risky in covatti who was protected at somerset. But scotty could guide that team to cup success i reckon. Big risk in Big rob L and gilkees to start. Leicester= Best 1-5 in the league. reserves will struggle but if they get any form will be near unbeatable. Start as favourites. Douglas and Perks arent unknowns anymore though. Redcar= 2nd best 1-5 and probably the best heat leader trio in the league. If stewart can push on then a very very dangerous team. Like the signing of jenkins at the bottom end. Scunny= Classic scunny team kinda boring. Need Allen to really kick on this year (for all his success in UK has not delivered what the poles thought he had 3 years ago.) Solid from 1-7 and Palin has no pressure on him at all. Somerset= Risky side and a side i expect to change. Bates and Barker you never know what you will get. BWD is on a false high average and im sure it will drop dramatically which could see changes. Zach Cook could be signing on the season in the champ. Need rowe to kick on once again. A team which could easily come together. Right now in Ranking order i go. 1. Leicester 2. Redcar 3. Glasgow 4. Somerset 5. Bham 6. Edinburgh 7. Scunny 8. Kent 9. Eastbourne 10. Berwick
  6. Wright, MPT, Kacper A, Jordan Jenkins and Joe Lawlor. join Stewart and Riss. good side. Reserves a bit dodgy but Jenkins has potential.
  7. Good to see Klindt, Procter and Bates saying we got a good one. Team shaping up nicely. Also good to see every rider we have signed is loaned from a club which has or is going to sign one of our assets. Keeping costs low.
  8. Basically nothing between them. From what other people have said McDonald has more potential that Kennedy.
  9. Anders Thomsen will not return to the U.K. he is a long way past that now. from what I understand the Pboro team is done and dusted.
  10. This argument about top tier is irrelevant. We don't have top tier racing in this country. Even Sweden doesn't have it now. One country has top tier and thats poland.
  11. Agree with what’s been said. some riders do better away from certain clubs. Chris Holder should have never left Poole for example. (I know this was really a ford decision) Lindback was never that good at the other clubs he rode in the U.K.. Yet he was with Poole. KK was just odd. But that’s KK. Kurtz had so much pressure on him. Probably the most in demand signature in british speedway in last 5 years. Every club wanted him.
  12. Being honest I don’t know that much about Hume. I think it’s more the fact you get an asset from abroad and can potentially see them develop. I also think everyone is after the Next Darcy Ward. Which is crazy Because that’s a 1 in 20 year talent.
  13. Think Brady going somewhere else is a good idea for his career. Riders move all the time and suddenly explode onto the scene. Nic Klindt for example has stepped it up since he went to Poole. Doyle left Poole and became a WC. Magic left Swindon delivered 3 titles straight and been a solid GP rider with the potential to win a Medal. Personally for his career I would like to see Lambert maybe move to BV in the future. At the end of the day once you can turn the Bike in the U.K. I would be going to BV to try and get ready for Poland.
  14. In Adam Ellis last 5 champ matches for Lakeside he averaged 6.57 (this doesn't include any cup match or playoff match)
  15. This could be a major point because a lot of his last lakaside meetings were playoffs i believe.
  16. this suggests to me that the 7.96 figure is correct.
  17. Just to Clarify im not arguing with anyone but the stats which don't make sense. Because the same site is saying 2 different things and the maths points to 7.96 figure being correct.
  18. But then 5 come from 2018. Last meeting is on the 28th.
  19. Adam ellis did 15 meetings in 2019 at champ level and has a GSA average on 8.5
  20. Yes. I understand the big lettering i would just like once again this sport to have something simple when points do add up correctly
  21. Please do the maths. Thats how GSA is figured out and well it deosnt add up does it.
