Fact is Plymouth fans have the hardest grafter @ the helm in Mark Phillips so if they are able to help Mark in any way they are happy to do so. Up the Gladiators!

Tom was giving every oppertunity to improve & it just did'nt happen. Plenty of support from the management, fellow team members & the fans. In previous season's the outcome may have been different but this seasons Plymouth team have a good chance of success & those extra meetings!

Northampton team name, I have 2 Nimrods & Hammers. With no names being given as yet to the management, could one be Nigel Wagstaff? He still owes me a few quid from his Oxford days would be good to catch up.

Cooper Rushen, surely Cooper would learn more signing for Plymouth 2026 & taking in all he could learn from Scott Nicholls & Danny King - where else come near!

For me the Wednesday & Thursday for Premiership would work on so many levels, who would they loose & they can gain Poole! I've said nothing about "freedom of access to their stadia" set race nights are prety much what we have now.

2 leagues for 2026 with the Premeirship Wednesday & Thursdays, the main reasons cut down on traveling & cost. Championship Friday & Saturdays, the main reason allow riders to work alongside their speedway commitments. Tighter rules to stop riders missing their UK fixtures and less double up/down. Any third division on Sundays. Fact is real changes are required.

I've been saying for years the material used on tracks today causes so many problems. Very short sighted if the promoters could have sorted the problem. We need a promoters association.

Can't agree the Poole masterplan for 2025 success was build an average side with only 1 or 2 likely "improvers" & then wait for the debut of the wonderkid to transform your results. So no pressure there then!

Have the wheels finally come off the Poole roller coaster? What would happen if Will Cairns has a change of mind/circumstance & a wish to ride for a different Championship club. I beleave the pressure Poole have placed on the young lad is emense - dispite whatever some might say. Enjoy your 2025 season whatever the final outcome.

Has the Speedway Star ever done a (honest) few pages on Clarke Osbourne's speedway track record. That would make very interesting reading.

Two names not mentioned how about: 1. Henry Atkins! a bit marmite with most Plymouth fans. 2. Zac Wajtknecht he has the talent has he got desire for speedway.

Clarke Osborne was a Director of a company that acquired the old ground of Bristol Rovers, Eastville. The club were evicted and Osborne made a sizeable profit from the sale of the stadium for development. He then bought Torquay Unitd and put a lot of effort into persuading the local council into selling him Plainmoor. You can make a good guess as to what would have happened next. The Council have not played ball so it looks like Osbourne has given up. As Torbay Council own the ground a phoenix club maybe possible but they may just sell it for housing if Torquay go bust. Grim times to be a Torquay fan especially as they looked nailed on to return to the League a few years ago. However, Osborne was loading debt on to the club and losing over a million a season in the process. The gamble failed and they have been heading for bankruptcy ever since. Such a lovely man!

I thought 24 year old Clarke Osbourne was the office boy @ Bristol in 1977? May be he would also like to tell us how he "took control" of Torquay United F.C. & was so successful! I think it's fare to say Mr Osbourne sees 95% of us as gullible fools.
