  2. I would like to see each club have an app which would be identical in format. I believe the app is setup for this and the developer has reached out to all of the UK clubs individually for their consideration. I would like the match day programme to be available and be able to compile my programme during the meeting digitally. Even better imo, this app does the filling in for you in fantastic speed and accuracy. maybe a couple of cameras fixed in each pit area so during breaks I can see the action in the pits rather than tractor racing. Most clubs now offer live streams, where this footage is covered. The streams bring in a much needed positive additional income arm for those clubs. id like to vote for my rider of the night and maybe have competitions to enter. Guess the final score and two top scorers would win a pit tour the following week As the app has only recently gone live, and many great additions already been implemented, these ideas are most welcome and will be carefully considered. I’d like information during the week of future meetings and news. Promotions for app users The app has a fully up to date news section, taken from both the official clubs Facebook feed and from it's website which has all of that information. this in my view would give my race day experience a much better value for money without the clubs spending a fortune. The only thing I personally would add as a comment is whilst you would want to limit the amount of spending out on these ideas, some ideas have the potential to take away much needed revenue that the club is already bringing in from other areas providing these ideas.
  3. Lewy is correct, but with regards to this app they haven't been involved to my knowledge. I have corresponded with the app developer today to let him know of this thread, and although he has read the comments so far there seems to be an issue with him signing up to the forum that is preventing him from posting, which hopefully is fixed shortly.
  4. Plymouth Speedway have just launched their new club app. https://www.facebook.com/plymouthgladiators/posts/pfbid034AG164mDv91agZUL3iUnnk1dwDemLftH9nUMLtDNpk19fzfPD4pXyxbgoDwVeu9nl
  5. Yes, it is being covered by Oxford Speedway TV https://livestream.oxfordspeedway.club
  6. Hi Mike, The Plymouth website, up until some weeks ago, was built, setup and maintained by an outside freelance developer who had sole access. The club now have the website back under their control, and have been busy revamping and updating the site which can take an age. I can assure you the club are working hard on this and it will be another step in the improvement direction once this is complete and back up and running again.
  7. Hi Steve, I can confirm that you can watch the stream once it has finished, and you can also restart/rewind the stream whilst it is live. HOWEVER, when you first go onto the stream it will start playing at that live point, so be aware and quick to make the rewind else you might see the score etc. I'd log on with the volume down until you have restarted it. Any problems hit the help button on the streams website page where one of the team are monitoring live to help. Andy
  8. Yes, Pirates TV cover all Poole home matches when BSN are not streaming there. https://livestream.poole-speedway.com
  9. The Plymouth website has recently been handed back to the club as it was originally designed and managed outside of the club. It is currently being updated and rebuilt so please bear with whilst this time consuming work is completed. šŸ‘
  10. The Gladiators website access has only recently been handed back over to the club and is currently undergoing a complete overhaul, and will be managed and maintained from within the club ongoing. This is a time consuming and lengthy process, so please bear with for those changes to be implemented. However, the Centurions fixtures are included on the fixtures and results page currently and rest assured, the Centurions are important to the promotion.
  11. Here is the full meeting video along with all the behind the scenes explanations etc.
  12. This link only shows the TNT/ Eurosport and BSN streamed fixtures. Many British clubs also live stream their matches, so the majority of matches taking place in British Speedway for both the Premiership and Championship, along with some National League fixtures are also being covered.
  13. This might be of interest, Keith Huewen on the Speed Freaks Chat Show with Scott Nicholls and Steve Brandon.
